Just curious if our members are still watching this.
I know we stopped using it for announcements due to the new members not having lj accounts, and I think Havoc was having issues reading it at work (but I think that's cleared up now).
I was thinking we might use it for the D&D game, since the non-ljers are unavailable for a few months.

I will be back in town the day before, and probably a little tired, but ready to go.
Will we have a quorum?
BTW, I will be out the third Saturday in December, the 16th, so we need to pick an alternate Saturday that month, or skip.

Are we on for this weekend? If so, did you want to go for Saturday, or do a Friday night thing so we can put the kidlet to bed and not have to watch him while gaming? I'm amenable to house guests if you guys are amenable to plopping down in our slightly toy-laden living room.
And I keep bringing up the Friday night thing simply because I would love to have my full attention on the game, and I don't mind taping DW and BSG and watching them on Saturday or Sunday instead.
Or we could do a Saturday night thing too, again, for the same reasons.

Just to throw out the first suggestion, shall we make the second Saturday of each month be our 'set' time? For October that would be the 14th. For November, the 11th, and for December, the 9th.

It's been suggested that we set a specific weekend each month to meet, with the hopes that this will get us into a routine after a few months. I've been trying to recruit an extra player or two, without definite success, though there has been interest, and an agreement that a set weekend would help with scheduling a regular appearance.
If nothing else, perhaps a set weekend will enable one of the couple of folks I have in mind to show up occasionally, and enable us to continue on.
So the question is, which weekend each month? First, Second, Third or Fourth? This can be a bit flexible, since in weird months like October, that have a partial weekend, we can decide which weekend is which, and of course we can always let the weekend slide to one side or the other on the calendar, if we know in advance that two or more folks will be busy.
Preferences for October/November/December?

Guys,
If I have to bail on dates, feel free to get together and run Loss as an NPC. I trust you all not to get me killed, I know that he's not likely to affect the survivability of other characters in combat, and it doesn't hurt my feelings in the least. I feel lousy about what happened this weekend, but honest, it's okay to game without me when these things happen.

E-mail are no good, and LJ responses are buried to anyone not getting notified when the reply is more than a day old.
So, the question is, what are our plans this weekend?
Ivan is going to Faire Saturday.
I think Val and I are leaning twards that as well, with the possibility of inviting folks back to our place afterward for an Aelita/Mummy/Shadow marathon depending on time.
But what about Sunday?

So this was going to be a duplicate entry for the e-mail I sent last night, reminding folks about this Saturday being game.
But I've already gotten an e-mail from Ivan stating that he and his wife are going to Faire that day, so the game is off.
Val and I were tentatively planning to go on Sunday ourselves, so I don't know if this will change our plans. We need to paint the garage and transplant a tree or two sometime soon.
BTW, Val has been going through our video tapes, weeding out what we have on DVD, and she discovered I DID tape Aelita, Queen of Mars many years ago when Sci-Fi was running a Silent film festival. Who knew...

Okay, I just made this friendslocked post to have all my summer and (early) fall planning stuff written out someplace on the internet. Which will, theoretically, make it easier for me to plan my weekends long in advance.
Anyway, I thought I'd throw it out there to see if we could go for maybe more than one date in August to get together for the League game. Possibly to see if we could pinpoint a September date too.
I know, I'm going awfully far in advance, but summer is usually a more insane time than usual for me.
So...lemme know what you think?

Looks like the consensus was we are done with the PTA game for now. I gave folks the option of a new playtest, but I've learned the timeframe probably won't work out, so maybe later. Plus I think we work better when we focus on one game at a time.
So, back to the League?
And we need to firm up our next meeting. Last I heard was 4th weekend of July. Sound good?
Do we need a recap of what happened last?

So, Ivan can't make it the 22nd, but fortunately we have one more Saturday in April. It will conflict with the other game I'm in bi-weekly now, but I'm willing to skip it to get a session in (and since they have 6 players, they can miss Val and I without cancelling).
So, how about it, the 29th at 1pm (for Tina's sanity)?
