I'm working on the transcript for Losing Faith... Sooo... yea.

Whoa, so quickie. Pencil work all done. Just gonna roughly do the panels and get to scanning/inking.

Inking is all done. Next time, remind me to resize the original to at least 1500 pixels in height. The lines are gonna be a lot thinner than in the previous page because of this mistake. Argh. This pisses me off. These tiny little details that no one cares about is what always ends up making me redo the whole thing. BUT I WON'T, ya damn page, you'll remain not up to par with my wants. ¬¬;

This next LD page is gonna be... much less in content compared to the past few pages. Oh well. It's a lot easier for me and didn't take nearly as long to pencil out. Dunno when it'll be finished, but it's on the way.

Well looky that! I was able to get it done after all! I woke up early this morning so I could finish. As you can see though, I took shortcuts in a lot of stuff. Just no time. And I'm worried about working on this and not studying. It's pretty early though, and I was planning to study at 3pm anyways. It's only 10:15am right now. :) So yea! This page is pretty wordy but I hope you enjoy anyways! It explains the things that bug me about other popular shows. xD [ link ]

Well crap. Looks like I lied again. The page will indeed be up this weekend but it won't be up by tonight or tomorrow morning. Why? I failed my Physics unit test and I've been dwelling on that the whole day. I CAN'T fail these kinds of things. So I waws depressed the whole day and hence, I wasn't able to work on the page as much as I could've hoped. I did manage to finish toning and shading the characters though. The background and dialogue hasn't even been started though. If you guys don't mind the lack of background then it could be up by tomorrow but I really don't think many would like it without bg so...

Sorry for letting you guys down. I let myself down too because of this test... So I have to work really hard to hit at least a 70% on the final exam that's on Monday. Wish me luck.

You know, I'd be a LOT farther in toning if our computer didn't screw up. Yesterday while I was at school something happened to our CPU and it just blanked out. So we took it to the store and it turns out we got a faulty Motherboard which apparently happens once in a blue moon. And of all people, it happens to us. Guess it had to happen to someone though... In any case, we got it back today and I only started working on it about an hour ago. Thing is, the shading takes up SO much time so I'm thinking about not doing that anymore... I'll see how it looks though since my drawings really can't go without shading... Too plain. But I might make it so that only the close-ups have shading or something like that. I dunno. I'll see. I also changed quite a few things on this page because I didn't like it. xD For example, I'm gonna change the logo on Ike's shirt because you know... I never even really liked Slipknot. I don't even know why I made that the logo. And it was a very bad logo so I'm making it better..!! Artemis' pjs too; I'm changing the pattern on that. Narhar.

Like I said before, it'll be up within the week. Probably late tomorrow or early Saturday. Chances are early Saturday so people won't miss the update... It happens so rarely so yea. xD

Oh, and that Physics test? I'm pretty sure I did really bad on it. I didn't understand much of this unit... Like, in the work, I could do it since I knew what equations were associated with the topic but on the test... It makes you think about what equation to use and which topic is applies to so I had trouble. I don't understand this unit and if I don't understand it, I won't get it. This sucks arse. I liked Physics too.

Yeas, een-deed! I haff fineeshed teh eenking! It's done worse than usual because I used my tablet rather than ink by hand... I haven't found out any techniques yet that will improve the process but I'm sure that I will in time. :) In any case... On to my Physics lab! And then the toning. No wait, Spanish first. And then my Physics workbook tomorrow and THEN toning. All in all, it'll have taken about 2 weeks to finish one page. Mymy, ain't I productive? xDD

And once again, because I was working on this, I'm stressing myself out because of my lab... Bwaaargh...

Indeed, I am stressing myself out by not doing my Math and working on the pages instead... See what I don't do for you people? *gets rocks thrown at her* Ahem. Well, as you non-IE users may have noticed, I have fixed both sites to work fine in all other browsers and now it looks a lot niftier. :3 Also, the next update to LD will also include a new illustration, but there will be no accompanying update to LF because I haven't done the thumbnail for thenext pages yet. xD

And! I have thought about it for a bit and I think I can at least manage a page every two weeks for LD only. Maybe in the middle there I'll be able to conjure up a page for LF. But since it's nearing the exams, I'm having less homework to worry about (I still get lots of homework but they don't mean as much in the marks anymore :P). Trouble is though, I have another Physics lab due this week which I haven't started yet since we haven't actually done the lab yet. My teacher says it'll be easy though so yea. >> In any case, its half day tomorrow and I have a Math quiz early in the morning. I should get to Math... Jeez, I'm guilt-tripping myself. At 9 I'll start working on my Math. xDD I'm pretty sure I won't've been the only one to not have done my homework anyways; a lot of my friends procrastinate as much as me. (I can depend on them not to do their work!!)

By the way, did I mention I got a new computer? It's so nifty and faaaaast~ Adobe only takes like not even 10 seconds to load on it whereas on my old on it took about 7 minutes. And I can actually ink pretty nicely with my tablet now too! And I can play UT and AMAlice and Morrow Wind and all kinds of games I couldn't before. (Warcraft 3, yey.) My bro paid for this whole computer though... Customized so it was relatively cheap and is near top of the line currently. But the keyboard and mouse are old... The keys don't work all the time so I have to keep going back and adding in the missing letters. xD Oh, and I can't seem to get the lineart to look really clear... I need to figure out how to get it as nice as, for example, Celesse's lineart in her tutorial. o.o Maybe I just have to keep the original images bigger or something like that. I dunno, I'll test it out.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've yet to fix the background and text colours for LF. Upon seeing it in the correct colours ( my old computer's settings were all screwed up and it wouldn't let us fix it), I realize how ugly it is. xD So yea, I'll change it once my bro is finished setting up everything to a more suitable colour. Please bear with that... not-supposed-to-be-pukey-green-but-is background and text for a while longer. :P

I really feel like working on my comics. I got inspired by Otafest. Unfortunately, I have soo much Math. It's a group project and several pages of independent work so I really can't concentrate on drawing (especially since I start to feel guilty for drawing and not working on Math). So yea, I said that once everything calms down, I'll work on the comics. But it's not calmed down yet so... >>

In case you haven't guessed by now, LD is on a hiatus. It's pretty much been implied but never announced (except at OC, methinks). Anyways, my schedule's been waay too busy so I haven't been able to work on any pages. But I'm thinking about using my tablet to make rather sketchy pages so they won't be as nice looking but I wanna get the story going even more now. >> Just tell me if you'd rather have "faster-paced-lower-quality" pages or "slow-higher-quality" pages. Mmk, if you've the time, then I would appreciate you telling me so. >P

By the way, I'm going to Otafest (Calgary) and I'm gonna be volunterring so yeaaaa details later maybe. xD

In reference to my comics... No progress, sadly. Still really busy. Still no time. Also, I've decided to submit an entry to the HTDM contest currently going on. Whoa! Its up! For LF, at least. >P May start updating LF every Thursday. LD might be every Sunday (well Saturday, but I'll be working on it all that day, so it'd be uploaded on Sundays). Don't count on it every time, but I'll try. And my art site would have like more than 10 new images if I had a scanner THAT COULD SCAN BOOKS! GRAWR!

Oh and by the way... This new "update schedule" might or might not start this week. Trying my best here. e.e

Very bad news indeed! Welp... You know how I use Photoshop to tone my pages and all? It uses up more than 500mb of virtual memory. I only have 533mb of free space left on my computer. Meaning I can't open it. Meaning I can't finish a page. o.o Or anything for that matter! NO! This is horrible! I was able to open it yesterday, so I was able to work on it a bit, but my brother keeps downloading more and more music (remixes so its free >P) and its irritating me..!!! ARGH!

... So I'm sorry! You're gonna have to wait longer before I can finish a page! And it is only for LF. This makes me feel terrible because all you've been hearing from me is excuses after excuse. ><

I've got the page for LF inked and ready to be scanned! Though it won't be scanned today. >P I'm trying to get a page of LD done as of now. Monday is Family Day though so we're gonna be celebrating tomorrow for it and yea. Meaning I probably won't get it done tomorrow. I also still have a lot of homework to do... A Math portfolio and 9 pages of Spanish. I'm only really worried about the Math portfolio though. In any case, I'm gonna be working on it all on Monday so that day's pretty much all gone. Same with tomorrow... Blah. I was supposed to go to a friend's house tomorrow but because of the family gathering... ;_; Ah well. Very busy weekend. Yesterday night I just went to a party so I couldn't work on it then either. ¬¬;

I think I'll only be able to get the LF page up this weekend. But don't get too excited... Its only a chapter separator. xD I made you guys wait for... that? Oh man, do I suck. I'll also probably be getting the new layout for Lampflower up soon. It'll be up along with the new page. :3 So don't hold your breath people!
