so today is my 20th birthday. [Thursday August 28th, 2008 11:02am] _headlikeahole [ mood | gakkkkkk ] [ music | Far - man overboard ] the past couple of birthdays have been pretty depressing, and this one is gunna be the same. 20 man, what are supposed to be "the best years of my life" are over. I miss been a teenager already! gunna have a wonder into town on my own in a bit and by some shit. Starting work at 3 today because of some course or something or other. gak, sounds like a load of crap. Leeds Festival was amazing, metallica blew my mind. Thursday and Friday i got absolutely fucked and the rest of the weekend we just hotboxed. my throat is feeling it though, fuck. Maybe been 20 is a good age to start growing up, cutting out the weedz and giving my head a shake? well it is something i'm seriously considering, i know shit ain't good. Didn't see all that many bands at leeds fest. Metallica, QOTSA, Cancer Bats, H2O, Frank Turner, Jeffrey Lewis were all awesome. Rage Against The Machine were disapointing, they're a bunch of has-beens. Morello gave it his best though and kept it together. Seems to me they've ran out of money and got back together for the sake of it. Watched a lot of spoken word and poetry, and comedy which was good. Rollins was ace again, so was John Cooper Clarke. But yeah, good weekend. awesome hangouts with awesome people. SO YEAH. 20. and i'm sat here listening to Far and thinking about how shit life is gunna be from now on. Off to dust tomorrow i think. oh the laughs. [1]|[tea?]
