Yes, it's true, but not with SL, sadly. Have you any idea how tiring it is to have 3 surgeries in 3 months? Let's just say it's something I'd like to avoid EVER happening again! I've got that anesthesia-induced stupidity going on, so it takes me three times as long to accomplish anything, it seems like.

But that doesn't mean I have nothing for you guys. *grin* I'll be kicking off the sale of a new line of products later today with a sale- I'm putting boxes out that are priced lower than the objects will retail for. However, once those boxes are gone, they won't be replaced, so be sure to jump in and get yours!

Speaking of, are you aware I now have 7 stores? I know, it floored me too! So this sale will be a bit of a scavenger hunt as well, letting you hit the various shops if something you like has already sold out! So much fun... I'm bursting to just start the sale NOW! So keep an eye on FashCon, that's where I'll be announcing it!

I'm going to be out of touch for a while, because I'm taking my kid to camp, then I have to have surgery, again. Yes, again. This time it's my gallbladder.

I am not amused.

I was hoping to hang on to some of these for the grand opening of my new shop, but I couldn't wait. Guess I'll have to make a bunch more new stuff. :D

I know, I know... I need to update more often. This is the busiest time of year for me in RL, so something's gotta slide. I'm still designing, I promise, I'm just too forgetful to blog it!

Because everyone loves the Teagans so much, I've got a new line of them coming out soon soon. I was also working on a new line of blouses with a subtle color gradient, but thanks to last Wednesday's update, I got to deal with this:

It's true... Teagan suggested I do some pirate stuff, and I swear, the pirates ate my brain! There's more to come, I think, but this first batch is pretty fun! Flexi skirts, sexy tops, cheeky panties, and the cutest socks I've done all week! Oh, and a fatpack- 29 pieces for $275. Tell me where you can beat that!

Hey, you can make free moo cards with a livejournal account! A friend had made some, and fell in love with them. I decided to make some for the SL stuff I do. On the front, there are pics of my clothes, and on the back is the name of the shop and a LM so people can get to it. What will I do with them? I have no idea, but they're cute as hell!



I can't wait to see them!!!

I've been playing with bits, and Teagan suggested I turn Ava into a gown. So... I did. I'm not sure if I like it or not, though. I'm waiting to pass judgement.

I didn't realize how long it'd been since I updated this blog!! RL has not been cooperating in the slightest. But I seem to be back, with a few new scars and one less body part. Eh, who needs an appendix anyway, right?

Since I seem to have run into a dry spot, inspiration wise, what would you guys like to see coming out next? (Ok, I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but I'm also interested in what other people want!) Talk to me!

Well, it's official- I am a bum. Actually, RL was kind of kicking my butt. But now, I am coming back... with lots of updates! Sorry for lack of text, but the brain, she is tired! Just look at the pretty pictures!

You go dancing, of course! TeaganIM'd and told me about a dance party, with a contest for best blackbeachwear. I really don't HAVE beachwear, but I had the new cheekyshorts to go with the cherry shirt, so i figured what the hell, let'sgo dance.

I swear, I wasn't doing the robot there.

I have news!! First off... the new LaynieWear shop is open! I'm SO loving this new location. So cute, so charming... so SLURLless... Yes. I'll have to get that and put it here. Some days, I swear!

I'm sad because the grid is down. BOOOO! But I had enough time to snap some shots of the new Valentine's Day shirts I've done, and for a quick sneak peek of the new LaynieWear shop!

"What's this about a new shop," you ask? Well... when I started the shop, I had something in mind. Elegant, kind of quirky. The sort of shop you could find if you were wandering downtown, tucked away in the artsy section of town. I couldn't find a building like that, and I couldn't afford rent anyplace that fit the bill, so I moved on, got a big modern building, etc.

Til yesterday. I was asked to move into a fantastic little shopping area that's almost exactly what I pictured! (I'll give a new landmark when it's up and ready to go.) But for now, I've got a couple of pictures! ( Want to see the sneak preview? )

Rather odd, but hey, so am I!

Wow!! I finished the requested modified t-shirt for Sabrina Doolittle, who seemed appropriately pleased. So, I've got them all up in the shop, as well as on SLB and SLX. (Well, I will by tomorrow. *grin* A girl's gotta sleep!) I also added the matching socks, so people won't have to search for socks that might match. Oh, and did I mention both come in fatpacks? *grin*







This has been so much fun. Don't get me wrong, there was much cursing involved in converting the tee. But it came out so nicely that I just can't complain. I also found that while it seemed like a very boring, very not-me kind of project, I found a way to put myself into it, little touches that say me... at least, to me. I learned about ads, too... and I think I like what I've got going here.

So... now, on to the fun projects. I've got some fun things in mind for Valentine's day. No, don't expect cutesy lingerie... you should know by now that really, that's not my style. I'll have more to post soon, I hope!

Do you ever feel totally overwhelmed by all the things you want to create? I'm fighting with that right now. I have pages and pages of sketches I want to translate into designs. I've got ideas for all sorts of things, from socks to panties to casual wear... men's clothing, women's clothing. I just don't have time to do it all! So I've got this cute little binder with things in it, printouts of ideas, templates to sketch on.

More time. Less sleep. Sleep is for when I'm dead, right?

I guess it goes without saying that I love what I'm doing. I may end up making a bit of money on it, I may not... but man, am I having fun!

I've finished the fatpacks for the socks- there's the neutral pack. the deep pack, the bright pack, the light pack, and for those who really love them all there's the everything pack. Yes, it was tough getting all those socks onto one image... I'm not thrilled with it, but it works.

I'm on a pirate kick now. And a computer geek kick. Wonder which will win out...

Several people have blogged about Sol Columbia of Luminosity's review policy for evaluations. (Yes, I read the fashion blogs... I can't get enough of them. Note to self: less time reading, more time creating!) So I'm stating here, as well as in SL, that if someone is interested in something for review, I'll be glad to send it over. I would like to see where you review things (again, see note to self!).

In other news- thanks to Sabrina Doolittle's suggestion (and FANTASTIC review... thanks!), fatpacks are on the way! The v-neck fatpack is up already, with more to follow soon. Check it out!
