| Sadly, there is almost no video footage from Metrocon. In the past, we have been very lucky to have the nice folks from ACP video tape our shows for us. However, they weren't there this time, and in the rush, I forgot to make other arrangements.
Oops. Bad Seiya.
However, my Dad was at the show, and we've just hijacked the memory card from his camera, so we'll be uploading pictures to our gallery soon. We need to resize them, for they are HUGE leik Xbox. We also have some pictures from my friend ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sahfas, as well. We'll try to get those up within the next couple of days.

This is a post Metrocon post to say that the performance went extremely well. The show pulled together well despite everything that has gone on to try and dissuade us. But we persevered and it went well above all expectations. And the love and acceptance of the audience was amazing and made it all the more worthwhile.
Special thanks to chumousie for helping out and kitsunesan for filling in as Mars at the last minute, as well as Metrocon for having us.
It was an extremely well received show and we're so grateful for that.
Thank you for all of your support be it spiritual or in person!
We would also like to welcome chumousie as an honorary member of LCM~! We love you! Thankyou again for everything!

| After Metrocon, there are going to be some changes here at LCM. This will be of particular interest to those of you who have been or would like to be a member of the Last Chance Musical Group.
You may have noticed that our roster of members changes frequently. This would be due to people having real lives, so we try to accomodate those real lives. In that vein, rather than cast people "forever", we have decided that we will be casting only for our next show. Previous cast members will be given priority (which I think is fair). This will allow people who want to participate in the group more freedom to do so without having to obligate themselves beyond one show.
Also, Steph and I are now the proud owners of approximately 5 different myu costumes. For those of you who cannot sew, if you can fit into the costumes we already have (specifically Venus, Mercury or Jupiter), this will also give you an opportunity to perform with the group and not have to have l33t sewing skills. (Fair warning, the Mercury costume is TINY.) We will ask for a small monitary contribution for upkeep of the costumes you borrow. (And if you ruin it, you buy it.)
It's been a lot of fun doing this, and we really hope to continue for a long time to come. With the economy the way it is, I think it is really important to make things easier for the people who want to participate in the group - so hopefully this will help. | | comments: 13 comments or Leave a comment |
| For several years now, I have had the honor and privilege of knowing an amazing young lady by the name of Crissy - or, as some of you know her, sunseenli. We met through her website (I believe), called Sailor Moon Avatars. She is one of the pillars in my life.
It comes as no surprise that she has been more than willing to help out with Last Chance, whenever possible - be it giving ideas, pimping out our shows, running our music, or simply in a monitary fashion. I am truly grateful for her help in all things -be it LCM or otherwise - and I would like to publicly thank her....
And make her an honorary member of The Last Chance Musical Group.
Thank you, Crissy. We cherish your love and support, and appreciate all that you do.

| New layout is complete! Updates to the links page, credits page, profiles, and cast images. The LCM livejournal is now embedded into the main page, so I don't have to update in two places! Super. :) I had to brush up on iframes, that was fun.

| Apparently I have been remiss in my duties. Last year at Katsucon, we had a young man volunteer to be on stage for Jupiter (rogueempress)'s solo, so she had a man to sing to. She sang "Worst Pies in London" from Sweeny Todd. That young man was fory_san. Crissy (sunseenli) had mentioned that she had a friend who would be dressing up as Tuxedo Kamen and would be glad to be our volunteer for the song - and a recommendation from Crissy is enough for me! So, while he is not a cast member, he was kind enough to stand on stage for the song and let Robbie sing to him. :D

Our next show will be at Metrocon in Tampa, Florida, July of 2009! We will be doing a tribute show to the late Miyuki Kanbe.
Last Chance will not only be performing, but we will be hosting several panels as well - particularly one dedicated to Myu Education. :D The dates are are June 19-21st, for any who are interested. I know Mousie's already bought her plane tickets. XD

Last Chance will be performing at Nan Desu Kan 2007!
We were told this morning that they are looking for a spot to put us in, so we're pretty much all set. For those of you who were interested in seeing us perform, please come join us! NDK is a wonderful con held in Denver, Colorado in September. The rooms are extremely affordable ($72 a night!) and it is held in a beautiful hotel in the heart of Denver's Tech Center. I couldn't recommend the con more!

| Ok, it's time to gather feedback from the audience. We're all about constructive criticsm to improve our show. Tell us what you liked. Tell us what you didn't like. What worked? What things do we absolutely have to keep? What you would like to see us ditch?
We value your thoughts and opinions. (hahahaha man I feel like some sort of craptastic commercial) Seriously, though, the more detailed, the better. This was our first time out there, and I know we have a lot of pros who came to the show. Tips and tricks are happiness, too.
