miss me? probably not, but ah, i haven't updated in such a long time. i was actually going for a ten-day record, but i really have to vent a bit right now. the reasons why i haven't updated is because i really am not catching up with your journals, so i don't think its fair that you do with mine. i don't even know if that made any sense, but i'll just pretend it did like it did in my little head.
these past two weeks have been beyond amazing. school started and even though its been pretty much a hassle, i've met some really interesting people and have had some really good experiences. i went out every single day from wednesday to monday, getting back home at 6 AM the earliest. i've gotten drunk, smoked pot (i know, i know), gone to the movies, which rarely even happens, gone to the beach, eaten frozen yogurt (which was really good, btw), and done some pretty odd stuff. besides that, not much has changed. i started liking people i used to hate, i hate my hair, i changed the cigarette brand that i smoke, and i'm almost done with the complete sex and the city series. well, more like halfway through it.
i said i was going to vent in this thread, but its so positive that i don't want to ruin it with negativity. i hope everyone is doing all right and i'll get back to your journals as soon as possible. also, notice the song i'm listening. i know, what the hell? i really just wanted to listen to it, i don't know why. |

когда я вышла на балкон, у меня перехватило дыхание... И впервые в жизни наблюдала как дождевое облако перемещается над городом. Очень быстро и стремительно перемещается, поливая по очереди соседние районы.  Сколько теряют люди, живущие на нижних этажах

я лежу только что на масажере, и дверь забыла закрыть. Слышу из соседней комнаты:

I just ordered this. Yes, my dears, this is thee year I've been preparing for. Forget my identity crisis for that entire summer at age 3, dressing up as Batman like it was my fucking job! And same goes for the next year, where I was convinced of being either the second coming of Jesus or Catwoman (my daily attire being the latter's costume). Oh no! This Halloween, I'm doing it hardcore! Rae, Krystle - I'm counting on you to find me some sort of vinyl bodysuit. I'll glue the thick, white stitches on or something, and buy a corset. Buying the boots will be the best part! It'll probably be a pair of gladiator Givenchys. I need to pick a different fashion house to rape, honestly.
Excited! I guess this means I have to be social, and actually interact with people this Halloween. Boooo. That's the point of wearing an extravagant costume? But it's only for my self-indulgent fantasies! Hrrrrr . . . /tantrum. Kari will be dressing as Lara Croft for the same reasons. And we are obviously planning a little early, I know. It's not like we don't have lives or anything? (Not now, anyways. Unless you count us and the gays walking 10 blocks down Lake Street [dodgey as fuck] for cigs and snackcakes at 1AM last night, plastered as all getout) Erm. Now, we need at least two men in my presence dressed as Beetlejuice, and The Dark Knight's Joker. Mummy would have an extra special Hallow's Eve this fall if I'm able to pull that one off. yeh. i had a life once, but i think i misplaced it. oooooops

Changed my profile again :P Yes, I know I'm restless.
Today is Marlon Brando day on TCM! He was great. More than great, I think. He was COSMIC. No one else was like him (or could be like him even if they tried). No one could match his intensity. I wish they were showing A Streetcar Named Desire tonight; I'd love to cuddle up on the couch and watch him in it. I have the DVD so I could just pop it in, but it's not the same, is it? I get more of a thrill when movies are shown on television. Maybe it's because I hardly watch TV and when there's something really good on, I get all excited as if it's something new.
Rambling.
I have not received my Sept 2008 issue of Vogue yet. I was told that if I didn't receive it by today, it would be considered late. Hmmm .. I'm just going to have to buy it at the newstand this time and hope that Vogue will add an extra issue onto my subscription. Has this ever happened to anybody before? Could you let me know how you settled it?
