Coming Back
I used to have a character on LambdaMOO but then I kind of last track of it and got recycled. (I used to be #51904.)

I just logged in again for the first time in years and it seems pretty quiet, especially for a Sunday. When I was active, everyone hung out in the Living Room. When it got too crowded, a lot of people went to the Hot Tub, but right now there are two people in the Living Room (besides me) and no one in the Hot Tub. Where is everyone?

(I requested a new character today. If it's accepted, I'll be "Gail.")

a lot of people are with MugWump, or in the BeelzeBus...

Since the advent of MOOradio most people seem to hang out in La Cantina de los Remedios(#64203) instead of the Living Room.
I don't think I've ever been in the Hot Tub in 3 1/2 years on Lambda.

I don't get it. What's so special about MOORadio?

I've noticed that La Cantina de los Remedios seems to be the new hangout spot. Is the room as public and crashable (so to speak) as, say, The Living Room was?

Yes and no. Yes, it's public, but it's controlled by a single player. If MugWump doesn't like you, she can "ballgag" you. I believe Fasteddie, Assman, and a couple of others are muted when in that room. Personally I find those two add color to the LR. I wish the action would move back to the LR and the RadioBot could just take up residence in the LR.

I agree! I always hate these temporary migrations away from the LR. Eventually, everyone comes back, though. I guess it's just a matter of time. I enjoyed having radiobot in the LR, too...it sparked a lot of interesting conversation, and was also easily ignorable for those not interested.
