Well I finished my Florentine Dress for faire and have started a new costume for Orecon. ^_^ The hard part is that I have no reference pattern for this one. I have to make it up as I go. What am I making do you ask? I am an Elementalist in Istani Armor from Guild wars. It was the easiest looking of the armor made for the elementalist's in GW. Yesterday was mostly composed of research and I started on the top. I'm making it first in muslin then I'll use those peices to cut the beautiful, lush purple fabric I got. I would have taken photos to post but Andrew has my camera and I did take a photo w/ my cell, but I'm not sure how to send it to the net. Or if it will be worth the cash. But here are some pretty photos of the in game armor.

The flu is killing me. It's not just a runny nose and sore throat, it's gotten to that stage where it makes me crampy and cranky and very, very uncomfortable. But if I take in anymore paracetamol (aaagh why did I have to have cramps just a couple of days before this) I think my liver will go on strike. And all of this has to happen during the holidays, too.

Why I'm most upset? I can't clean my room. D: I've been dying to.

после школы сразу же понеслась на остановку, прождала трамвай минут двадцать, в итоге, совсем уже нервничая, села-таки на тридцать третий. ну, сижу такая, крутая, еду бесплатно, потому что турникет опущен был. мирно смотрела, как мотоциклист врезался в впереди едущую машину. тут слышу "бубубубубучеркизовской" от водителя (не, ну нельзя говорить разборчиво? ниче не понимаю никогда) я стала нервничать, подошла к окошку и "эээ... а вы едете до краснобогатырской?" оказалось, нет.
в общем, я думала, что дико опаздываю, и поэтому совершила забег хрен-знает-сколько-метров, но я устала. потом я совершила второй забег (змейкой между машин) и села на другой трамвай, причем не в полной уверенности, что он поедет туда, куда надо.
а в итоге оказалось, что я опоздала всего на семь минут, и мне все равно пришлось ждать там еще минут десять, потому что учитель куда-то пропал.

ппс. ленинградские краски афигенно пахнут.

So, Target and Wal-Mart did not have season 1 of Gilmore Girls on sale (Target did have Season 3 of Veronica Mars on sale for $18.99 though, so I now have the entire series on DVD).

And somehow, when I got home, the collector's edition boxed set accidentally fell into my Amazon cart and then somehow I managed to click order now...you know, like 4 times, and whoops I ordered Gilmore Girls from Amazon. So I should have all 7 seasons in 5-9 business days.

Yeah yeah, I'm bad. I'll regret it in October but that's a month away. Right now I just want to get my GG on!!!!
