In Search of New Dreams

Here's a little drabble that follows the story of my oneshot "Every Step You Take". I'm doing this as an exercise to see if I can get my creative juices going again after almost a year long break from writing fan fiction.

A/N: This was a challenge from the 1sentence comm under the set ‘Epilson’, but as you can see, I never finished the fifty. (And I don’t plan to.) Also, some of my sentences turned out to have more of a story than one line could tell, so I was doubly doomed. Blur is influenced by the marvellous Pika-la-Cynique’s Girls Next Door comic.


Only after the honeymoon does he find out that she’s worse than a chorus of barrel-drunk goblins at holding a note.

Well, not right this second, but maybe some time in the future. I'm still in the trying to repress the traumatic memories of the last exchange, after all. I'm also contemplating what changes need to be made in order for the exchange to run a little less chaotically, but my biggest concern is timing. More on that in a bit.

There will be one major change to start: in order to keep exchange postings separated (and better organized) from the usual labyfic traffic, a new community has been created over at labyrinth_ex.

There are still a lot of wrinkles to iron out before we have another exchange, and your feedback would be very helpful. Please head on over and vote in the poll.

'Lo everyone! I've been lurking around for a while and finally finished up some fics to post! Huzzah etc! These were written for 64damn_prompts. I can't guarantee chapters will usually be posted this close together but I've been working on this particular piece for quite a while but finished "Parallels" first for whatever reason. This one is quite a bit longer and more verbose (an ironic word if I've ever known one). Interestingly enough, quite a few of these little pieces are based on Sarah's interactions with other people and their impression of Jareth/Sarah. So far, Sean is in four and I haven't even thought about some major scenes I'm planning on beyond 'hey, that should probably go somewhere' so . . . get used to seeing him around. I kind of like the kid.

Hi, um first time poster, long time reader...

Alright, I am working on a Nine Times Sarah Williams Crossed Over Unknowingly (And The One Time She Did So Willingly) or the weirdest year abroad Sarah ever experienced. So far, the plotline goes from New York to England to Japan and I am trying to find good series for Sarah to run into.

In no particular order:

New York
1.Heroes-- being nice to Japanese tourists.
2. Gargoyles-- Sarah gets saved, Broadway puns are done, and Chunky Munky ice cream is exchanged.

England
4.Torchwood/Doctor Who-- flirtations and saving the free world from evil space chickens.

6. Stardust-- Sarah travels to Wall.
7.Neverwhere?-- an Incident happens; Sarah runs (a freaky brush with dark things and owl wings)

Japan
8.Inuyasha-- it always pays to listen to the old men about older stories.

10.Xxxholic-- Sarah seeks out the Witch.


I am leaning towards Sarah running across fandoms in humorous stituations or finding kindred spirits (Coraline, Dogsbody, His Dark Materials etc.)

And I am completely stucked on Five Friends Sarah Didn't Meet in the Labyrinth aka what happens when I have too much caffine and read about Rosalinda, Queen Chickens, and Final Fantasty.

Hi! I'm pretty new in town. I watched the Labyrinth for the first time ages ago, but I didn't really get sucked into fandom until I re-watched it the other day.

I'm in love! I've been devouring S/J fics at an alarming rate, so I guess it was just a matter of time until I started writing.

I haven't written any fanfic in years, though. So I'm a bit worried that it's going to be, well, bad. Is there a kind gentle soul out there, who wouldn't mind giving it a read when I've finished it?
