Since it is several local Lolitas Birthdays in July (including my own), and a lot of us didn't get to connect at AX since it was so hectic, I am planning a meet up in long beach at the Queen Mary on July 25th. I've lived in Los Angeles for almost five years and I've never been, so I figure it's about time to go. The regular self-guided ship walk tour is $24.95, HOWEVER.... The haunted encounters tour is only $27.95!!! Totally worth the extra $3.00! If we get more than 20 (which I seriously doubt) we can get a group rate that is cheaper. I know that this is a bit more expensive than a lot of meet ups but I think it will be totally worth it!

The attractions run from 10am to 6pm, with the box office closing at 5pm. Since some of us (ie ME) like to sleep in a bit, I was thinking about meeting up around 2pm at the ship's ticket booth and then we get our tickets at the box office there and start exploring. It will be fun to run around the ship dressed all frilly and hunting down ghosts, or at least trying to! I thought about possibly doing a little swap meet before or after in the park near by if anyone wanted to trade goods. I have some brand socks and blouses that I'd love to trade for other accessories. We could also do a picnic if people were so inclined...
