Ooops! I slept in and didn't go to work today! My boss rang me because one of the girls at work was worried about me- I've never been late for work ever, let alone missed it altogether- but they figured that I'd probably slept in and were ok with it thank goodness. Luckily there are three other underwriters in and it's quiet!
I guess my body is still on Vegas time. In the end I couldn't sleep until about three in the morning!
Tomorrow is seven years to the day since Tom and I started going out with each other! I don't think we're going to be doing anything seeing as we're both knackered and surely getting married, albeit a few days early, is celebration enough!
My Dad called and told me about Malta. Apparently there was a wedding going on in his hotel which left him in tears and he said I'll come to regret my choice not to have a proper wedding. I'm actually beyond feeling guilty now so he can say whatever he likes and I don't even respond. I know he's going to bring it up every time we speak for at least the next year, then ten to fifteen times a year for the rest of my life so I'm just going to ignore it.

Daily Porn Report: Michael Lucas' Auditions volume 4, or Farts! The Prequel (one of many)
We start with the biographies and um, they could really use a proofreader on them. So much crappy grammar. A check of the DVD box shows that the studio could just use a proofreader. Period.
Then it's on to Blu Kennedy's scene with Michael Lucas and they sit around shirtless on a bed, talking about where Blu's from and stuff.
Blu talks about his parents coming to Oklahoma because of the oil fields.
Michael: "Pumping, pumping, pumping..."
Lek: It's like he's mentally disabled, only not. He's not mentally disabled, he's French. Or Russian. Whatever!
Michael continues asking Blu questions and Blu remains uncomfortable.
Lek: "It's like trying to make small talk with a three year-old."
Lek suggests tossing out Michael Lucas and bringing in Parker Williams instead. Oh, if only.
Lek: Michael Lucas would be perfect for LOLPr0n.
Blu is adorable in his embarassment as Michael just keeps asking him questions.
Michael: "You think this is big enough?" He gets his dick to wave at Blu.
Lek: That explains it. His dick's so big it controls everything.
Blu tells Michael about having to pay off his car and doing a movie for Titan.
Michael: "This story puts me down." He shows that his dick is now pointing down.
Lek: "After Chernobyl, my penis is sad."
Blu is relieved as he finally starts sucking Michael off.
Lek: "My penis is happy now! See?"
Lek: At least Michael finally shut up.
Michael commands Blu to flex his asshole in and out.

Finally, after about 14 minutes, we have farting noises.

We start cracking up as the farting begins in earnest and are wondering how Blu isn't cracking up, too. Maybe because he's got Michael's dick in his mouth.
Lek: I love how he aims Blu's ass at the camera.
I can easily say this ranks among the best twenty bucks I have ever spent.

The children of the night
I finally managed to see the new FOB video (on tv cause every online version I've tried to see was all skippy or something). They're so weird. The end's the weirdest. They're just... very strange, insane boys.
So yesterday was The Blackout. Before we went Mikey's Lego Batman came so we spent awhile on that.
We managed to get there ok (the Astoria's pretty straightforward to get to) and we had Mcdonalds. Why did they not have Happy Meal toys to yoink like Wednesday? Meanies.
Anyway we joined the line half hour before doors open. Behind us was a guy I thought was cool (but Mikey didn't). He'd good music, though the main reason I liked him was his tee. On the front it said something about being gay for The Blackout and on the back it said he'd suck Snoz's drumstick. Heee.
We went in and got merch. Mikey got me a tee, which is pretty and has the tour dates on (bar Birmingham's oddly). I really liked The Medic Droid (not just causa the name) and got the cd. I didn't go much on We Are The Ocean. Claire managed to arrive around then though, so it's all good.
Last was From First To Last who were pretty awesome. Matt looked Good (*snigger* ) and the keyboardest was crazy. Best of all, they played Ride The Wings and Sean came on (he'd been sitting watching for at least half the set). He did a bit of screaming and kissed Matt. Ahh I hope someone got a pic.
Last was The Blackout. They had a stage with a raised kit and ramps and stuff. Gavin kept jumping from beside the drumkit (has the chest infection made him want to hit his head?). Matthew kept staring at Sean (but also Gareth). Sean's been teaching Gavin his mic swinging thing, though he's not as good yet. They were so bouncy and awesome. And they also stole Bullet's lightbox idea. They played a new song (which I loved) and I Kissed A Girl. What is it with everyone and that song? Sean kept putting his hand down his pants, showing skin and generally being a tease/whore.
We're going to see Mirrors in awhile.

Земфира в Лос-Анджелесе
в общем и целом мне очень понравилось. звук постоянно "гулял", фонил микрофон и половина инструментов, о чём Земфира не раз сокрушалась со сцены, тем не менее народу было всё равно.
Конечно публика - это отдельное слово. Чего только не наслушался в зале. Пергидрольная девица своему спутнику: "Саша, ну это вобще галимо - заплатить за балкон, а стоять здесь. Светка опять скажет, шо мы зря столик заказывали".
Ближе к концу к нам с Никитой пристали какие-то сельского вида гЭи из дальних пригородов Иркутска. Из положительного - порадовало обилие лесбиянок среди публики, а то как-то напряжно быть единственными представителями ЛГБТ. Но геев тоже было порядочно. Когда мы уже уходили, какой-то страшненький мужчина с кавказским акцентом вещал своей дэушке: "И он мне говорит - брат, не ходи вниз, там же одни педики!" Мы с Никитой только глаза закатили.
Плакал я на концерте два раза. Первый раз сильно на "Мама-Америка, в 22 берега, не отпускай меня, вдруг кто увидит":
она была в акустической версии.
А второй раз на "Бесконечность", но уже меньше.
Земфира очень хрупкая и юморная женщина. Сзади сцены на экранах мелькали фотографии её и "русских вечеринок в Лос-Анджелесе". Земфира: "А можно фотографии убрать? Пиздец, как напрягают!" Пользователь puh мне не советовал идти, потому что Земфира видите ли, в Нью-Йорке "пела без души". Уж и не знаю что ей для бОльшей "души" можно было сделать - разве что харакири на сцене.
P.S.: из музыкантов внешне понравился пухлощёкий саксофонист и бас-гитарист внешне напоминающий Джеймса МакАвоя.

SNL does the 2nd presidential debates.
More political comedy!
I am surprised how on top Saturday Night Live is with it's political humor this season.
I had almost totally written SNL off as being brain dead and teetering close to cancellation.
Last weekend's showing with Anne Hathaway was halfway decent, starting with a brilliant Palin/Biden sketch.
This time Obama/McCain get skewered on a special Thursday edition of the show and it's rather inspired.

From this point on I have decided to make my posts open to everyone.
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.
Today consisted of journeying the streets of Old Town alongside my father. I have not seen him in almost 2 years, so it was an interesting day. By the end of it, he had told me he would be aiding me in saving money for a car. I think he proposed this solely because of a comment I made prior in the day. Over lunch, we were talking about the current activities of my friends, when I was talking about my closest friend going to an art academy in San Fran, he immediately asked why I didn't go to school immediately after high school. I had responded with, "Because my mom and dad don't pay for everything." That response ended anymore discussion of the topic.
To be honest, the comment I made, I feel I was in the right of saying. Sure it wasn't the best way of saying it, but at times I feel blunt honesty is the best policy.
Anyways...the reason for harmony being the title of this entry is because of the bracelet I purchased at one of the booths:
The fish in some tribal meaning is suppose to represent 'harmony'. I thought it was cute :]

Второй раз читаю газету нашей эмиграции "Русская мысль". Пока это лучшая газета на русском языке, которую доводилось встречать. Авторский взгляд людей, живущих вне страны, на происходящее с Россией, интервью с эмигрантами, прожившими десятилетия вне Родины.

На парапете набережной Сены лежали книги. Много. Приглянулся учебник для французских студентов изучающих английский язык. 1902 года издания. Книга понравилась. Цены указано не было. С настроем- "Больше 30 евро не отдам" отправился к продавцу. Оказалось, что все книги лежащие на парапете-бесплатно. Взял еще одну из той же серии.
Да, Британские авиалинии вводят новые правила провоза багажа. Каким образом все книги и велосипед полетят в Москву ума не приложу, но задумался.
