Welcome to the Kyle XY Icon Challenge community. Feel free to join and participate! Everyone's welcome. Any suggestions or input is also welcome, and contact ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) _orangeday for whatever.

| rules & the basics |
1. Community is members only. So you have to join in order to see the challenges.
2. Pictures or a theme will be given. Your job, should you choose to participate, is to take said image or theme, create a certain number of icons (specified in challenge post), and submit them for voting.
3. Voting will last one day. In each vote, you will choose the top three (3).
4. Each icon submitted must be made for this community and challenge. Please don't use or post icons until the challenge they're for is over.
5. Don't take anyone's icon without their permission. It's not nice.
6. No animation allowed in entries. Anything else (textures, brushes, text, etc.) is more than welcome.
7. When submitting an entry, post the image as well as the URL.
8. Upload the icon to your own server for submission. Don't delete the icon from your server until the voting is over.
9. Icons must meet lj standards: 100x100 or less and less than 40k.
10. Be creative. Have fun. Enter often!
