Yay! Nicole won the #2 position in PortraitMagazine.Net's 2008 'Top 10 Coolest TV Mothers Feature'! Voting was open throughout April and more then 6,000 TV fans voted. Haley from One Tree Hill took out the #1 position with a 74% lead...

Although Kyle was a little strange, Nicole saw something special in him and vowed to help him. The connection between Nicole and Kyle increasingly grew so much that when Kyle’s parents found him, Nicole shut down...

Hello all! I am a member of the Paley Center and was very surprised that this event wasn't sold out yet. These events take place at the Center itself in Beverly Hills and I would guess a maximum of 100 seats are in the theater. Here is further info.

I posted in December about the poll at Portrait Magazine asking users to vote for their Top 10 Favorite (Young) Couples on TV. Now the poll is closing in a week, 18,000 people have voted and none of the couples from Kyle XY are anywhere near making the final list and being featured in the Special Valentines day article.

Josh and Andy have the most votes at 67. To steal the 10th place position from Chuck and Sara from "Chuck" they'd nead to beat 504 votes.

Portrait Magazine is running it's annual 'Top 10 TV ships' feature. You guys vote for your favorite (young) ships from current TV shows and the top 10 are assembled into a special Valentine's feature fill of info, quotes and pictures to be published in our February issue.

Kyle and Amanda, Lori and Declan and Josh and Andy are all nominated but they're dramatically behind at the moment. Go vote and spread the word to other fans. Last year nearly 10,000 people voted and the winning couples can change dramatically hour to hour.

Any Doctor Who/Whoniverse fans out there? Preferably those who have had the opportunity to see the pilot to Sarah Jane Adventures, Invasion of the Bane. Both show have some very similar themes and characters, which have been plaguing my mine with plot bunnies.

First bunny idea involves the idea of Kyle meeting Luke. There is a striking resemblance between both actors, and I've considered the idea that perhaps Luke was also grown in the Zzyzx laboratories, from the same DNA as Kyle and Adam Baylin. I know in Invasion of the Bane, Mrs. Wormwood, the head of the corporation says that Luke was made from samples of DNA of people touring the Bane factory. However, I don't think it would be a far stretch for that to be a bit of a fabrication, perhaps Luke was a discontinued Zzyzx experiment, a child who spend less time in the gestation tank than either Kyle or Jessi. Somehow, he ended up in the hands of manufacturers of Bane, along with some of Madacorp's other experimental psychological technology.

However, now that I have this idea, if I were to start a story, I am not sure where I would want to begin, or what the Zzyzk and Madacorp employees already know about Luke

I'm thinking that on the one hand, Foss, or Adam Baylin could tell Kyle about the fact that there was another experiment, one which was ended early and that the child was sold to the Bane factory, which recently exploded. Kyle becomes curious about this other experiment, and the prospect of a possible brother, and begins to seek him out and tracks him to Bane factory. He finds out about what went on their with Sarah Jane, decides to pay Sarah Jane a visit, and low and behold, finds Luke.

Sarah Jane could begin to doubt what she was initially told about Luke, and that the story of him being created from the DNA of folks touring the Bubble Shock factory isn't true. She decides looks through some of the business dealings of the Bane corporation, finds a connection between Zzxyx, and Madacorp, and decides to do some investigating on her own.

On the other hand, perhaps most of the characters we know have no idea about Luke. Maybe Luke was made on the sly, kept secret from Adam Baylin and a number of other Zzyzx employees. Or possibly the experiment was deemed a failure, and they were all told he was deceased, when in reality, he was sold to the makers of Bane.

On the other hand, perhaps Lori and Trager, Kyle's adopted brother and sister, plus a few of their friends, including Declan happen to be on a trip to Seattle's Pike's Place market, when they spot two British tourists, Sarah Jane Smith who might be in town to investigate Madacorp, and Adam Baylin, and Luke. They can't help but realize the uncanny resemblance to Kyle, begin to stare, this catch

Hey all, I'm Maureen and I just got into kyle xy last week. bit of a latecomer, but oh well :)

I've watched it all, read all the fic, etc etc etc. obsessed and with too much time on my hands? me? NEVER!

Anyways, one of my friends recced the show to me and woo, I love it! The "sex talk" from season 1, ep 4 was beautiful and hilarious! "grapefruit" is my new word for being turned off. Another great ep was season 2, ep 7 with social activism barbie Lori! I like them both for the samre reason, they handled deliciate subjects factually and without pulling punches...and without dwelling on them either. Coming form ABC Family, that is significant to me.

The first half of season 1 though, when Kyle is barely verbal is the best to me, so cute and helpless!

If you could take over writing duties for an episode of “Kyle XY” – what would you write for your character?
I’m glad the writers wouldn’t ever do that because I’d have some pretty whack ideas :P I would figure out some way of incorporating karate into my character's life. I'd write that josh becomes really buff, therefore, the production would have to hire a personal trainer for me, and sooner or later, I’d be huge! I would also make Josh some how become super rich and start collecting ferraris.

I have just listed a Kyle XY lot on ebay. It includes a new in shrinkwrap season 1 dvd set, the CD soundtrack [new w/o shrink wrap] and a promotional card with 3 KXY temporary tattoos!

We already have all of this stuff so I'm deciding to sell it starting at 9.99... Great deal for 3 of the coolest Kyle XY items :)

I would love to have a diehard fan of the show buy this lot, so check it out!
