Notes:
・The flow of these lyrics leans a lot in the rhythm and rhymes of the words, so when translated a lot of the original lyrics' awesomeness and charm is lost in the translation. Personally I find the lyrics very captivating (in all their lewdness), but they were really quite hard to translate into English. ...I'm not very pleased with this translation so I might try to redo it later on.
・[1] Here he actually sings "メス" (mesu), which is the word used for female animals, rather than "女" (onna) which means woman. I translated it as woman nevertheless, but figured I'd mention it.

Notes:
・[1] The word used here is not actually shadow, it's "shape" (形), but "leaving nothing but their shadow" sounded more natural and correct to me than "leaving nothing but their shape".
・[2] Here, the word is not literally unclean, but "muddy; impure; vague" (濁った), but again I took the liberty of changing the word into something more natural sounding than the literal translation. Also, the "mistake" the "painter" did was of course layering too many colours in his heart, I'm not sure if that was clear from the context because of the order in which he says things D: ..Not sure if I'm making any sense. Anyway.
・[3] Another word I changed a bit; he sings he "bundles together" (束ねる) the hate, but that sounds plain stupid in English, so I changed it to "nurture". The meaning doesn't really change.

I've been working on this translation for days, I hope I managed to translate it in at least somewhat decent manner. D: The lyrics and the song hold a kind of a special, personal meaning to me, so I wanted to make the translation as good as possible, but I'm not sure how well I did -- the original Japanese always sounds so much more beautiful and far from the awkwardness of my English translations. Ah well, hope you like it anyway!
(Oh yeah -- it's certainly been a while since the last time I posted something here! Sorry, I spent a month in Japan between these translations and life's been kinda hectic due to that, so I've been a bit quiet. However, I'm back and you can expect more translations from me in the near future. :D)

Today was hot.
I think my skin is a little sunburt because I went out at noon.
The cold drink I bought from a vending machine tasted excessively good.
The picture is "The Bluff Set"
A way to feel like you're drinking cold water even if the water is lukewarm.
1, Take 5 Mintias to your mouth and chew
2, Drink lukewarm water
...How's that?
After 10 seconds, come back to reality.
That's it. This was a story about "The Bluff Set".
ps. If you drink cold water after trying bluff water, your throat will hurt, so be careful.

・This is a pun; in the beginning of the entry, he talked about the hot weather, but in the end he was almost about to say it's hot, but said "cold" instead, as if the atmosphere had turned cold because of his "story". Not sure how to explain that well, but the word (寒い/samui/cold) can be used in response to bad or poorly delivered jokes, not just to talk about the weather, so that's what he meant here.

That's right, there are over 100 members in this community already! Thank you so much everyone ― even though I started this community mostly as a place to stuff my random translations to, it's actually quite motivating to see that so many people have found my translations interesting enough to join the community.
If you ever have any feedback or questions regarding the community, the translations, or translating from Japanese to English in general, feel free to always comment on any of the posts in this community. ・[1] The word "urizun" is an Okinawan word meaning the time of the year from around February-March to the beginning of the rainy season. It's considered a beautiful and nice season, because it's getting warmer but it's still not as hot and damp as when the rainy season begins.
・All the members of GLACIER are from Okinawa or Ryuukyuu in general, and they use a lot of Okinawan expressions in their speech, song names and lyrics, hence the use of "urizun" here.
・[2] Literally this is not "memories" but "time", but the idea is pretty much the same and it sounds better as "memories" in English, at least to me.

・[2] Ushisuki is a meal at Yoshinoya, not sure what it is though and don't have time to google for it now, but it does contain cattle. Haha.
