PARTICIPATING RULES

>> If you wish to participate in the LIMS, just friend & join the community and sign up at the sign up post (nowhere else) with your username.
>> You may use anything to make the 100 x 100 icon: brushes, textures, blending, etc. Animation is strictly not allowed.
>> You are only allowed to use the pictures provided. Nothing else, even if it's from the same event, photoshoot, etc.
>> The icon must meet LJ restrictions: 40kb or less and the format must be .jpg, .png or .gif.
>> You have 8 days to submit the icon. Those who fail to submit will either lose a skip (if you have any remaining) or be disqualified.
>> All participants are allowed one skip. To use your skip, simply post a comment.
>> You can get an additional skip by promoting. But only one more. Therefore the most a partcipant can get is TWO skips. (see PROMOTE for the rules)
>> Icons must be made especially for this competition, and do not post them anywhere until the elimination/winners post goes up.
>> You may change your entry at any time until the deadline when the voting starts. You may change it as many times as you like. You have to state what is your earlier entry though.
>> Please do not delete your icons from their servers until you either win or are disqualified.
>> Have fun icon-ing!

SUMMARY (not all rules are here though): Sign up with username on sign-up post, 100 x 100 and 40kb or less icon, No animation. One automatic skip. Two maximum skips if promote. May change entry as much as you want. Icon not posted anywhere else.

PROMOTE

>> Promote this community somewhere in Livejournal.
>> At the sign-up post, leave the link of where you've promoted it at or a screenshot of the promotion and I'll add an extra skip.
>> You cannot promote at a community specifically for promoting. You can promote on your livejournal, your community or someone else's comunnity if you're allowed.
>> You can promote as much as you want (that will be lovely), but you will only earn a maximum of ONE skip by doing so.
>> Have fun promoting!
