Summary: Maybe it is because they are all lonely or desperate but, despite the shape of their friendship, it was everything Namine could have wanted.
Notes: Old idea is super old. Like, back when I was reading the KH2 novels old. It was originally going to be more about Riku and Axel getting romantically involved, but I left the story alone for too long and it took a different direction when I finally picked it back up. So now it's more about Namine. But I like her, so that's okay, I suppose.
This is novel canon, so the situation the three of them have isn't mentioned in the game. The only thing you really need to know is, at the end of the 7 days, Diz is running from Twilight Town when he comes across Namine. He hastily tells her that he's got a fridge full of sea salt ice cream under the computer and she's free to eat it before taking off. How the three of them started hanging out, I don't remember, but I do remember reading about them sitting around doing nothing several times XD Thus, the main action of this story.

... I think one of the only reasons I got through the thing was because Tory ended up as embarrassed as I always feel when I write prons. I feel your pain, buddy, I really do.
