Until Tdot's hand gets better and things are back on track, Today and Wednesday I've set up the two Christmas Secret Santa images we received this year. Er, last year. Last month. You know what I mean!!! AUGH!!!
First up will be Jim Lowery, creator of Role of the die shows us how to get someone (er.. something) that has everything the perfect present.. And on Wednesday, Col, the creator of Strange Happenings gives us a picture of Panda in some... quieter times. :)

My kitty had to be put down today. She was approximately 3 years old, and an absolute blessing to have known. Never would you have found a cat with such an interesting personality anywheres else, and her presence is noticably absent from the house. I'm doing alright with it...I feel more blessed than anything else to be able to love and care for such a beautiful animal and provide her a home away from the wilderness.

Hey folks, after talking to Tdot, Knights of Vesteria will resume after the holidays have completed. His hand is healing up nicely, and we thank you all for being patient with us. :) Hope everyone's holiday season, whichever if any you celebrate, is the best!!

Hurt my right hand pretty good. Trying to draw updates still, because I'm a glutton for suffering, but...yeah. left hand not cooperating as well as the right typically would. I'm sure this sounds like some kind of lame copout, but anyone who's known my drive for webcomicry knows my hand really has to not work/hurt before I won't use it.
If the update doesn't show up Friday, I'll slave at it for Monday. Nice to see my advertising dollars were well spent... :(
I'd like to again thank the Deeganites for stopping in. You guys rock. Sorry I suck so much right now. Gonna go ice my hand again, before Robin tears my face off. |

Well, been doing a lot of thinking. A -lot- of thinking.
Knights of Vesteria will continue on Monday. The update schedule will change from 3x a week to 2x a week. I've realized over the last little while that I don't do much other than comic when it comes to drawing. I require freedoms to explore other projects and practice and fun things like that. So, Monday/Friday is your new update schedule.
Elvenbaath will update in 2007. I tried to get it going before then, but I can't. Not without some kind of buffer. Not without seeing where the comic stands these days, where it's going, and if it's going to conclude any time soon. I've been entertaining evil thoughts of just giving up on it...hopefully those don't come to pass.
Other things are in the works too, so if it stopped, Elvenbaath's characters would move on to other things...I care about them too much to give them up entirely.
A person or two over the past few weeks have asked how -I- have been holding up considering the large pile of crap that dumped on me in my life...to them I say thank you for being my friend, and for caring. I announce that from now on, I am not going to share my suffering, or my sadness, or express any kind of agony to anyone ever again on the internet. I've learned that a lot of my friends on the internet only care for so long...then they get annoyed/mad/etc, and suggest I keep my problems to myself. I understand, it shall be done. I'll put on my silly hat and dance for you, if it'll make you happy.
Also...I'm probably going to disappear from the online world soon as a result of said dealings. Not entirely; I'd still lurk...can't give up the lurk...but as far as full blown IRC chats or thousands of forum posts...I'm not sure it's in my best interests.
For all my buddies online, please don't get me wrong, I love you all with as much emotion as I can muster. I'm just making it all...there. So if you see me vanish, you know why. It's cause I'm sad or upset, and I don't want to ruin your fun.
For everyone who has supported KoV so far...thank you. It's a project someday I'll return to fulltime, I'm sure...3x a week updates are in my blood, after all...but right now I need to focus on things that aren't comics. |

Dropping out of the lazy grind v.2.0 on my own free will. I'll give you a list of reasons why.
-Haven't slept in DAYS. (See reason #2)
-Sick as a bloody dog.
-Eyes are like faucets/waterworks.
-Don't want to rush an update.
-Want to prove I can update lots without a grind.
-I NEED A BLOODY VACATION.
-Don't want to fight with anyone over a stupid silly contest anymore.
-FCBD/3 Secret Santa Submissions/CG Sampler/Elvenbaath Buffer/Elvenbaath CG site launch/Other Projects.
There's also heartbreak in there somewhere, but it has little to do with failure, this time. This time, it's all me. All me, and whatever the fuck I caught the other day. How many days has it been? I can't remember. The central reason was....I don't want to rush an update. Ever. I also know I don't require a contest to update 3x a week. So, I put two and two together. I wish all the contestants luck.
To my small but loyal remnants of my fanbase...I'm sorry. To my writer...I'm sorry. I'll be back, I think on Wednesday, but don't quote me on that. Quote me for Friday, for certain.
You also probably noticed Elvenbaath didn't update. It's done, NOW, but it's almost Tuesday. I'm going to save it for Sunday, and build a small buffer. I also got a ton of other crap to work on.
At any rate, yeah...at least I dropped out on my own free will. Some guys and gals didn't get that luxury. |

You all know it, it's as clear as day! Even within the territory of the Paladins, the undead lurk. Thanatir is a new one to you all, but to me, he's pretty hardcore, so I'm trying to give him some special treatment. I apologize for this strip, just because it was originally scripted to be part of the last strip...but I wanted to give this fatal swipe a bit more flow, emotion, and overall attention. I think it was worth lengthening this a little.
If it helps any, I've added dialogue from next strip into todays strip, and intend to make Mondays a nice one. Sorry I butcher your writings so much, Net! ^_^;
Also, look for an Elvenbaath update on Sunday. I'll try for this week, promise. Monday at the latest.

Ok, did a bit of tweaking to the page today. Got rid of some of the MASSIVE empty space under the chatbox and what not, and I'll be filling it with more webcomic recommendations here in the next day or two.
Also, the cast page is, for the moment, complete. Drop by and get a bit more background on To'ng, Panda and Rhandi... and here in the next few pages, this info will already be behind, but such is life. :p

I feel like I punched the universe or something. Seriously, it feels good to finally get the crossing of Elvenbaath and Knights of Vesteria underway. This does so much, tweaks the story, gives you one hell of a twist, and lets me get a fresh perspective on things.
