In search of the Pink
Does anyone know where I can find hot pink needles? Straight, circular, DP, doesn't matter which. I found a pair of size 3 DPN's in a lot from Ebay and also have size 1 & 2 16" circulars from YarnPirate, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere else. Ideally, I would like to have hot pink needles in every size and type I can find. Any ideas? Thanks!

not really (i don't think). the pink kit has pink cables, but not needles. though a lot of people have had luck with dyeing their Denise needles tips, so I bet you could try that if you are willing to do a little DIY.

there's even a rainbow kit from Knitting Help.

Google looks like it has some? I think Boye has some aluminum pink needles, and they are sold in chain craft stores. It looks like Denise Interchangeables come with pink cords if you buy the Breast Cancer Awareness set.

Seconded -- I have some hot pink Boye aluminium straights, which were my first needles ever.

Ta-da! I have a pair of these, and they're good times. Also, it's hilarious to knit with them in the presence of cats.

I agree, these are fun, and really are enough light for knitting in the dark (my one pair happens to be in hot pink, too)

They're also useful if your power's gone out and you can't find a flashlight.

I got given a pair of those for my birthday and I am petrified to use them in front of my cats ;)

I think I have a cheap (but solid) pair of plastic 13s around, I'll take a look and get back to you. What a cute idea! XD

Try Comfort Zone for hot pink double pointed needles. http://www.knittingonthego.com/ Very light weight with a little bit of grip so that yarn slides, but not off the needles when you don't want it too.

I have a pair of hot pink size 17 needles in my collection, made by Red Heart. I "borrowed" them from my mom a long time ago and don't know how long they've been around, but maybe Red Heart still makes them and in other sizes too.
