Opinion Needed...
So, I'm designing this sweater based somewhat on knitty's cheesylove project, except I'm using cotton dk weight yarn instead on wool, moved the hearts around, and am using stockinette instead of k2p1 rib. This is also my first design project (ever). Progress so far below, if you're interested in that sort of ting:

So, I have enough yarn left for full length sleeves (I think), but I originally wanted half sleeves with this. Which do you guys think would look better? (If I do full sleeves, I may or may not put hearts on thesleeves as well)

Thanks again!

I dunno. I sort of like it with no sleeves. However, if you did to the full length sleeves, hearts from the shoulder to the wrist in sort of a strip would be neat. Kind of skater sweater style but with hearts. I know there is a name for this but it's eluding me.

Cute! I vote for half-length sleeves, especially since it's a cotton, summery type sweater.

I'm in the "no sleeves" category. It's really cute!

I vote 3/4 sleeves (to the elbow). I think it would be uber cute. But it's great the way it is too! nice job!

I vote no sleeves too :D it looks great as it is, maybe you could put just a bit of edging that matched the collar to finish the armholes?

Not about this sweater, but on your angelfire blog you mention a "sitcom slut" sweater. What have you done to sitcom chic? Do tell! :-D

Nothing... yet. =)

It's a project to be for a friend. Basically, take the sleeves off the sweater, lower the collar a little, make the yoke less annoying and wear it as a shirt.

I probably shouldn't call it that, as in the end it will have no resemblence whatsoever to sitcom (except yarn and maybe stitch counts), but that's what I've named it. I didn't understand the importance of naming projects until I started doing blogging stuff. It's because I'm a one project person. =)

I think 3/4 sleeves would look great.... with either an edging in the same color as the hearts or even more rows of hearts near the bottom of the sleeves....

If it were me I'd probably even consider making 3/4 sleeves just out of the red.... but I'm weird like that. *grin*
