That is just too cute, especially the last one. And great color coordination!

PS- I know a number of the members here have had serious problems because their cat ate yarn. It can get tangled in their intestines, etc., so just be careful.

no worries

he was fully supervised and I NEVER EVER EVER leave yarn out unattended. I've heard so many horror stories I would hate for anything to happen to any of my 4 babies.

Good to know, I was actually a little more worried that someone might make a comment about it in a not so nice tone, and thought I'd try to say it nicely first and to give you a heads up that you might get a slightly rough comment from someone.

aw..it's good to see animals knitting...my bird loves to help me knit..he runs quality control of the yarn, sits on my needles to make sure i get the stitches right and then preens the points of any unwanted..fluff?

Adorable cat, he really is a beauty..and the yarn really compliments his fur...:)

My cat says "god dammit! I knew the owner lied to me when she said yarn isn't for kitties. evil wench!"

And he's currently pawing at my knitting basket. thanks a lot! ;)

That's the cutest cat I've ever seen!

My cats are more interested in my bamboo needles than in any of my yarn, natural fiber or not. They especially like them *while* I am knitting with them.

Yeah my cats prefer watching and attacking the needles than playing with the yarn too!

lol I know what you're saying. I have to keep my purse up sometimes because they like to chew on the straps.

those DPN's I made from a cheap dowel from a craft store. so I didn't worry too much about that.

I did just buy a set of bamboos today (good gracious they're beautiful) They will go nowhere near those pointy teeth! I love my kitties but....

Cute kitty!

One of my cats likes playing with my dpns too, but only when I'm knitting with them. It's quite a challenge to knit when there's a cat hanging off the end of one of your needles, let me tell you. :)

ha ha ha

so very true. My niece LOVES to watch me knit (she's 2 1/2). I always have to make her something too. And she's right up there asking questions and touching yarn and needles so that makes it kinda hard to get anywhere

He is absolutely beautiful!! I gotta show him to my mom - last winter we got her a half siamese half long-hair something cat. He looks just like your kitty but in typical siamese colors :) And he likes to knit, too. Him, and all THREE of my cats couldn't care less about the yarn, but the needles... THE NEEDLES!!!

2004-11-20 09:34 pm UTC (link)
yes THE NEEDLES!!!!!! They're way more fun (that and they don't get yelled at or swatted off mommy's lap if they chase the needle rather than the yarn)

BTW your icon is GREAT!!!!

Oh, adorable! Except... I have puppies who love my knitting, but ... I love my dpn's FAR too much to let them touch them! As unrooly said, "the needles... THE NEEDLES!!!"
