I think I should have joined this community a long time ago. I just posted some stuff to swap in the
noyarnforayear community, but I thought I'd repost stuff here plus some more.
If anyone wants better photos or anything, please let me know.
Here's what I'd like to trade:
One entire skein of Lion Brand Lion Wool Prints in color #201 (Autumn Sunset). 100% wool, 143 yards, US 8 (5mm) needle. I paid $5.96 for the skein.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5260.jpg
TAKEN: Four skeins of Phildar Variations. 2 in "Fjord" and 2 in "Jade." 76% wool, 20% acrylic, 4% viscose(rayon). 49 yards, 50 g each skein. I don't know how much these cost because they were given to me, but on breiweb.nl, they're €3.30 ($4.32) each. All four are intact, never cut. The Jade ones have been knitted a bit, though. Also, I don't have the ball bands for Jade, but I do for Fjord. Gauge is about 12 sts x 17 rows (4") on 6-7mm (US 10) needles.

TAKEN: Three skeins Knitpicks Essential in Fawn, Grass, and Pumpkin. 50g; 231 yards; 7-8 sts / 1" on US 1-3 needles. 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon. It sells for $3.29 on knitpicks.

http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5273.jpg
TAKEN: Four skeins Filatura di Crosa Valentino. 50g; 109 yards; 20 sts x 25 rows (4") on 4.5-5.5mm needles (US 7-9). 68% wool, 32% cotton. I have no idea how much these should cost. (I got these in a swap.) It looks like the person paid $4 each for them (on sale). This yarn is discontinued.

One skein of purple mystery mohair yarn. It's a thin, lightweight yarn, but not fingering weight. I don't know the yardage or who made it. It's definitely over 100 yards. Again, I don't know how much this cost or what it's rough price ought to be.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5264.jpg
One skein Lion Brand Jiffy in Mint. 100% acyrlic; 135 yards. 14.5 sts x 18 rows (4") on US 10 needles. This one is intact. I also have another skein in the same color that's been cut, but there's still a lot left. I also have 2 other skeins in Country Green. According to the LB website, the Mint color is now discontinued. I paid $1.86 for each skein.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5265.jpg
Two skeins Caron Bliss. 60% acyrlic 40% nylon; 82 yards. US 10 needles. 1 skein is black, the other is maroon.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5266.jpg
TAKEN: One full skein of Knitpicks Palette in Purple. 100% peruvian wool, 231 yards. US 1-3 needles. Their price is $1.99 each.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5267.jpg
Two skeins Patons Carmen in chocolate. 64% nylon, 36% polyester. 64 yards. US 10.5 needles. I got this in a swap, so I don't know how much. However, I'd pretty much be willing to just give it away.
http://www.electro-k.org/mar07/100_ 5268.jpg
Taken: Four skeins of a mystery handpainted yarn. It's 100% acrylic, 2ply. The lady I got it from (via a swap) said her father bought it in Peru. There are no ball bands, so I have no idea how many yards it is. She said it's probably about 400 yards. This is a light worsted/dk weight (US 5-7). Three are still in hanks, but I balled one into a center pull ball. No idea how much this yarn is worth.

-I also have a copy of The Knitter's Bible by Claire Crompton to swap. Someone gave this to me as a gift without realizing I already had a copy.
-Interweave Knits Fall 2005
TAKEN: -Noro Knits by Jane Ellison
What I'm interested in:
silk, alpaca, worsted & bulky yarns (at least enough to make a scarf), Lamb's Pride worsted & Bulky, handpainted yarns (like Manos del Uruguay and Malabrigo, but doesn't have to be those exactly), Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden, lopi or létt lopi, maybe a gift certificate to elann or handpaintedyarn.com. Even roving will do. I don't really have much specific in mind. I am not interested in yarn smaller than dk, unless it's something like 100% silk.
2 skeins of Lion Brand Cotton Ease in a little girl color.
And this is a long shot: 9 or 12" US 6 circular.
Ok, I think that's it. I hope I posted this correctly.
