Kiuchi's Schedule at Fanime, Update

Okay, as of today, this is the full schedule for Kiuchi as I know it. Standard caveat applies that you should always check the schedule at the con for exact place and time.

FRIDAY -- May 23rd

Opening Ceremony: 3-4PM @ Stage Zero

Wii Challenge: 5-7PM @ Stage Zero

Kiuchi will play a couple of games against one or more of the other guests.

Saturday -- May 24th

Guest Meet and Greet: 11-1PM

General Autograph Session: 2-3PM

Q&A Session: 5-6PM (moderated by yours truly!)

What's it like voicing roles as diverse as Prince of Tennis' Oshitari, Monster's Tenma and Saiunkoku's Ran Ryuuren? How did the Meganes come about? Where does he get his inspiration for roles such as Oshitari? To get the inside scoop on Kiuchi-san's voice acting career, drop by and ask him yourself!

Sunday -- May 25th

Fan Appreciation Panel: 11-1PM (also moderated by me)

A unique opportunity for Kiuchi-san's fans to interact with him in a casual setting and show their appreciation for his voice and talent. Cosplay as his characters, or from the series he's been in, is highly encouraged! Various entertaining, interactive activities are planned.

Karaoke with Oshitari!: 3-4PM

Fanime is providing attendees a once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing with a professional seiyuu (voice actor). All singers -- whether you can hit the high notes in Phantom of the Opera, or only sing in the shower -- are invited to join GoH Kiuchi Hidenobu in our karaoke room for some rousing group renditions of Prince of Tennis songs. (Don't worry if you don't know the words, we'll provide lyric sheets.) The more, the merrier!

I'm hoping some of you will come by -- especially to the Fan Appreciation panel and karaoke! Kiuchi-san is still somewhat bemused that seiyuu fans exist outside of Japan, and I'd love for him to get an enthusiastic welcome (and show him American fans *love* their seiyuu!)

Fanime panel times

Less than 30 days to Fanime and Kiuchi-san!

I have dates and times for his panels at Fanime (subject to change, of course, so double-check the posted schedule when it's available):

Q & A Session: Saturday, 5 PM - 6 PM

The Q & A Session is straight-forward questions and answers.

Fan Appreciation Panel: Sunday, 11 AM - 1 PM

This is going to be a more casual panel, in a larger room where fans will get a chance to interact with Kiuchi-san. We have some fun things planned, so I hope people will make there to say "Hi!" to Kiuchi-san. If you're bringing anything for him, this would be the best time to give it to him. ^_^

You'll need to check the schedule when it's posted for autograph session times (I don't currently know them).

Cross-posted to seiyuu.

Intros and "what would you ask Kiuchi-san?"

Since it's been quiet here, how about a round of introductions? Tell everyone why you adore Kiuchi, how you came to enjoy his voice!

And, so we can get a headstart on the Q&A panel, what would you ask Kiuchi?

As for me, I was hooked the moment I heard the talk track to "Crafty." (muse_neko let me hear it) I'd heard the song, but it didn't make an impression. And then that deep, breathy voice came through the headphones and knocked me off my feet. The rest is history. ^_^

And ... I want to know all about the Meganes. Why they decided to run with what was a one-off joke and any details he'd like to share about the recording, especially the talk tracks!
