So. I was sitting there in the back row of the auditorium listening to a friend's orchestra concert, when this little plot bunny bit my finger so hard there was metaphorical blood all over the floor.

Unfortunately, once I get through finals, I will be a) working on A Star to Steer Her By, my Jim Kirk/Janice Toland Big Bang epic (an AU of mijan 's And All The King's Men 'verse), and b) marathoning Star Trek: Enterprise like a mad thing.

The bunny is this: it's a High School AU. The theater department is putting on Jesus Christ Superstar, which is quite possibly one of the most hoyaytastic shows ever to hit Broadway. The cast/crew is as follows:

(please note that anyone who is not Kirk, McCoy, Uhura, Pike or Gaila is free to be recast at the author's prerogative. I didn't make up the story, the bunny did.)

Basically, the show happens, Spock and Uhura are a longstanding couple, Kirk and McCoy get together, Gaila puts real life subtext into "I Don't Know How To Love Him", etc.

Ok, So here's the deal. I go on this website called My Life Is Average and I saw this.

Today, my brother was playing with a cheap Star Trek toy of Dr. McCoy that shouts the catchphrase "I'm a doctor, not a physicist!" However, being six years old, he misunderstood and is now going around yelling "I'm a doctor, not a fish stick!" I like his version better. MLIA.
