I've finally gotten around to working on the typesetting but it's going slow. ^^; Can't sit for too long due to my back (car accident a few weeks ago...). But we're still definitely doing it!

And finally, though we updated our Fansub Wiki page about this, I forgot to put up an announcement. ^^; We'll be subbing the 24 hour drama for this year, Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide! I believe that Kazanko had put it up on June 5th. ^^

Hey everyone.
Finally. Finally we're done with 'Myuu no anyo, papa ni ageru'. It took us a little longer as we re-checked the things over and over. There are 3 people with pharmaceutical & medical background on it. That's why we tried our best to be most accurate as possible so that's why you might find some strange notes *ROFL*.

This is the Special Encore of the Last Friends Series, which aired after 11 Episodes. It is not to be confused with the 1 hour "Eri My Love" Special which aired on Fuji TV on demand (pay-per-view) and which, if we get our hands on it, would sub as well.
This episode is a recap with new scenes to remember the 'Best Drama' chosen by the Japanese Drama Academy Awards.

Well announcement follows announcement. ^^
We've picked up another Drama we're going to sub in Summer season. It's the Special Drama of 24hours TV airing on 30th August 2008. I'm gladly announcing:
Myuu no Anyo, Papa ni Ageru!
(I will give papa Myuu's legs)
It's a one time Special drama starrring Matsumoto Jun and Karina. A true story about 25 year old Yamaguchi Hayato with a wife and 2 year old daughter who has the CIDP disease, which hit every 100,000 person and is incurable.
Last friends update:
- Episode 10: needs to be QC-ed and encoded (hopfully this time we don't need 7 runs like for episode 9)
- Episode 11: 100% translated, 50% edited and Timing in progress
- Special: Translating.
We're going to do the Last friends Special as well (it was a re-cap kind of special), but we can only to that after exam sessions are over means towards end of august. Thank you for being patient.

Kioku's next project will be the NHK drama that starts airing Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 2000h, Cat Street! Hopefully it will be a weekly release and is a total of 6 episodes. It is based on the manga of the same name, by Kamio Youko, the manga artist who had done Hana Yori Dango! The cast for Cat Street includes Tanimura Mitsuki, Kurokawa Tomoka, Arai Moe, Miyama Karen, Takabe Ai, Kaku Chikako, Ishiguro Hideo, Katsuji Ryou, Kimura Ryou, Takahashi George, Namase Katsuhisa, Baba Tooru, and Fukusawa Arashi.
We are currently looking for translators for this project, so if anyone is interested, please feel free to email us at kiokukonseki[at]gmail[dot]com. ^^

This is just a short information about Last Friends progress.
Well right now we're a little slowed down due to a Translator's change of location to a pretty rural place and a part of Team being distracted by EURO 2008. *grin* But we're working on it. As we try to be as accurate as possible it takes a little more time for the Translations cause we let them check by japanese people.
We're planning a double release on 8 and 9 next week when our encoder's back from her business Trip around Tuesday and afterwards a soon release of 10.
Thank you very much to everyone for writing those nice comments even if we don't come back to all, we read them. Last friends is really a good drama and we're happy people enjoy watching it.
Yeah so that was the short update. Thank you for your patience.
