kingdom_hearts is a community created for the purpose of discussing Kingdom Hearts and related info.

Warning to fans new to the world of Kingdom Hearts: This community does not necessarily label spoilers from the first two games. (Kingdom Hearts and KH: Chain of Memories)

.::Rules::.

1. Stay on topic. No one wants to hear about random events unless they pertain to Kingdom Hearts, Disney, or Final Fantasy. Please, if you want to tell the story about how your cat ate a sock, include the fact that it happened to uh, leave it on top of your Kingdom Hearts game case so you had to get a new one. XD;;;

2. Keep ads to a minimum. We all know that to get a community off the ground, you have to advertise it. Please make sure all ads in this community are related to Kingdom Hearts in some way. Also, no one wants to go to a discussiun forum only to see it overrun with ads. So please, make sure the community does not get flooded with these. :D

3. Get along. To a certain degree, at least. Debate is great, but ending up on fandom wank is not. ^^; We all have been victims of it at some point or another, I'm sure. If not, our time will come eventually. But I'd prefer not to have tons of wank.

4. Use tags. The tags are there for the convenience of everyone. For example, I am posting a fanfiction about Riku and Sora. Suppose it's slash. The tags would be "fanfiction, riku, sora, slash"

5. Use Lj-cuts! Use an lj-cut for the following: large images, icon posts with more than three(3) icons, spoilers, fanfiction longer than two paragraphs.

6. No requests! Do not request any graphics or music. This includes icons, layouts, images, or anything else like them. KH Ultimania is a great place to look for images.

kh_icons and

squaresoft_icon are great icon communities. Also,

freelayouts has a few Kingdom Hearts layouts posted. Just check the tags.

Icon/graphic posting policy: When posting icons, no more than 3 may be posted outside of an lj-cut. Also, no icons that could be considered spoilers may be posted outside of the lj-cut. When posting spoilerish icons, label the cut text with a warning. Remember, it's better to be safe than sorry. When in doubt, cut. Layouts are okay to share, but they need to be behind a cut as well. A small preview image is okay outside of the cut.

Spoiler policy as of 04.11.2006: Anything to do with Kingdom Hearts II is considered a spoiler. We must give everyone a chance to play the game before spoiling. :D Posts about the game are allowed, but must be behind a cut with a spoiler warning. Kingdom Hearts and KH: Chain of Memories, however, have been available for long enough to not need the cut. Icons used for posts to the community may not be spoilerish. This includes images and text that may be considered spoilers. In doubt about an icon? Don't use it. You may, however, use for a comment in posts that are labeled spoilerish.
