Welcome

Heeeey.... All of you out there, thank you for stumbling upon this icontest! This is the glory that is kingdom_chorus, a lyrical icontest community. The fandom we support is, of course, Kingdom Hearts and any other such titles (as in Deep Dive, KH2, CoM, FM, and such). Remember to read all the rules before making and submitting an icon!


Rules for Participation

~*~ You must be a member of the community in order to participate in the contests.

~*~ I'm only allowing official Kingdom Hearts artwork - manga scans, screen caps, or other official works; FAN ART IS NOT allowed.

~*~ Feel free to start using whatever images you wish.

~*~ Icons must be:
- no more than 40 k in file size
- no more than 100x100 pixels in dimension
- be no more than 7 days old at time of submission
- meet the criteria of the current theme


Submitting

The new theme is announced in the voting post for the current week's theme. Submissions are accepted Friday through Friday. You are allowed to submit TWO icons. Submit your icon to the theme prompt post via comments and include the following:

1. Your icon
2. Your icon's URL

Failure to meet all 2 criterion will result in your icon not being accepted. Please make sure you've also closely followed the requirements specified by the individual theme, which are explained in the submission post. Failure to follow these requirements will also result in disqualification. All submissions are screened.


Voting

All community members are allowed to vote. Voting begins on Friday at 10 pm US Centeral Time (estimated). Please be sure to allow for the time difference depending on where you live. Voting ends on Sunday at 10 pm US Central Time (estimated), when winners are announced. All votes are screened. The voting prompt entry will outline how many icons you are to vote for.


~*~ Rules for voting/when voting is in progress:
- Do not advertise your icon.
- Do not post your icon until voting is completed and winners have been announced.
- Please do not tell your friend's to vote for you.
- You are NOT allowed to vote for your own icon.
- Vote if you want to win.

This allows for a fair competition and gives everyone an equal chance to win. Entrants' journals are checked at random to check for this and violators will be given a warning. If not resolved, the entry will be disqualified.

Any questions about any of the rules are welcomed, just reply to any entry, or feel free to contact me on my personal journal, through AIM or MSN, or any other way.
