I'm bringing the KH.net forums back.
You will have to re-register though.
When the boards crashed a few months back, I lost EVERYTHING. :(
So we're starting fresh.

Me, Alicia & Rachael got to hear the new album on Greg's ipod on Friday Night at the Grand Rapids show.
It's AMAZING!!
It looks like the name of the album is going to be "Wake Up The Sleepers" and it won't be out until September!

Alright, so most everyone has probably heard the special treat that KH gave KHK to give out.
What are your thoughts on the new New York City Speed?

I got to hear about a month ago when Mat let me hear a rough mix with it and I fell in love with it all over again.

and if you guys haven't seen this, someone filmed KH doing another new song "mouth to mouth" in Iowa.
You can view it on youtube here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbHbb-CSO1w

From listening to the studio version of Mouth to Mouth, I am pretty sure this is the song that Amanda Palmer is singing on...but I'm not positive. There is a female vocal in the song though.

Greg also said that WTCMF probably won't make it on the album. Which is too bad. :( But he did say something about having some chicago djs remix it and releasing it next year with remixes..so that would be awesome. :)

I can't wait til September!!

From Greg today:

"Hey Guys ,
Sorry this is last minute, but as you know this recording process has been lightning fast . Which means we've been using every second of the day and wasting no time. However today we came to a difficult point . Tomorrow we have to turn in the record to our label and we recorded 14 songs for the album, only 11 can make it . We're not sure what songs to cut , so thats why we need your help . I want to put together a focus group of kill hannah fans young and old in the city of CHICAGO today to help us make the decision . I need about 5 or 10 fans to meet sometime today and each person will listen to the album with headphones on and take notes on the songs as to which they like and dislike. Please send out a distress call to the KHK for help . Let me know what you get .

Thanks again

Greg Corner"

Please send your name, email and cell number to info@killhannahkollective.org if interested in partaking in this event and we will forward it on!

Thank you!

Chicago’s own Kill Hannah is performing this Friday for the NIN after party at the Double Door, and whenever they play their hometown you can expect intensity. I chatted with lead singer Mat Devine while he worked on Kill Hannah’s fourth album at the Chicago Recording Company, which Devine proclaims is “by far going to be our biggest and most important record.” While smooth jazz played in the background, Mat and I talked about everything from the “new romantic” sound of Kill Hannah to where you can catch him dining and drinking in the city.

by Wilson Standish of BoyKings.com

Wilson: How are you?
Mat Devine: I’m good, I’m at the studio.

W: What are you guys working on right now?
Mat: We are finishing up this new record.

Since Kill Hannah's upcoming tour with Lacuna Coil doesn't have any Texas dates (other than El Paso, right?), I'm lucky enough to be able to venture to Oklahoma City, OK(:

Just wondering if anyone here has been to an Oklahoma City show because I was curious about the amount of people that usually come out to see them.

Just curious about who I might see, but not know it, there[:

I thought I would just catch Jonny watching "Lips Like Morphine" from sidestage. I was wrong.

I've added downloadable mp4 & wmv versions to my Kill Hannah folder on mediafire. The mp4 is full size (I shot at 640x480) and the wmv is half size (converted for my zune). Sorry they get lost in the folder - they are titled "Kill Hannah - Lips Like Morphine - 29 May 2009"

Holy crap...Jonny isn't in KH anymore! He just posted on his Twitter.
"Nine Inch Nails, then Kill Hannah afterwards. Gonna be weird watching a KH show from the crowd..haha. I know they're gonna rock it out!"
"And yes, so there is no confusion, I am no longer playing with Kill Hannah. The guys have made a great new album"
"And I know they'll go far. I will always be apart of KH, but for now, I'm moving on and excited about MY career and future musical projects"
"So stay tuned, Kiddies, and keep your eyes and ears open !! Xoxoxo -Jonny Badger"
"And I promise, I will have info soon about new music from me. Working hard in the studio. Can't wait for you all to hear it!"
"Ok ok...u I'll tell you the name of my project. "Polar Moon". You likey? Thought you would :)"

I can't believe this, but just thought I'd share.
Hope everyone has fun at the show tonight...wish I could be there.
