Hi, so I just got a paid account. Why, you may ask, would you get a paid account after a year + of not having one?
Well, I have a credit card.
These things just sort of happen when I'm handed (not-so-)disposable income.
Plus I wanted more userpics.
Which is where you all come in! *innocent smile*
So, I've got hundreds of LJ icons saved, but none of them really appeal anymore and I'd like some new ones to match my fandoms. So, if anyone could point me in the direction of some really great icon makers, or even just some super cool sets that you've found/like a lot, that'd be super awesome. ^_^ I'd really love some good House MD, PR or Dr. Horrible icons. SPN of course is always an option as is Doctor Who/Torchwood. In fact, anything really. :D
I'd just like some more cool icons, pleases and thank yous in advance. ^_^

Anyway, I've got a ridiculous headache. And I forgot - again - to register to vote. Whatever. I don't care that much. The deadline's done. Did the dishes, on that note. My writing is at a dead-stop but I won't get all pissy over it. The more I force it, the crappier I write. I find it's true with a lot of writers, actually. I have so many things I could complain and be a big bitch over, but I won't inflict my nastiness onto others. My problems are my own and I will take responsibility for all of them. I made it clear I wasn't in the mood to talk. I said I wasn't feeling well. If after all the indications and statements I gave you, you keep talking to me and I bite your head off? LISTEN TO ME WHEN I TELL YOU DON'T FUCKING TALK TO ME.
It's not obvious here, I'm certain, cause A)I'm comfortable writing in a way I will never be speaking and 3) Everyone is braver on the interwebs but I am shy. Painfully shy. There's a lot of shit I simply cannot do as easily as others. Laughing at me and telling me it's easy just makes me feel stupid, and then it makes me hate you for being a fucking jerk.
If you're pissed off with me, and so giving me The Silent Treatment like a five year old? You might at least want to let me know why you're pissed off, cause right now I'm clueless and vastly amused. Punishing me does no good if I don't know why I'm even being fucking punished.
My life would be much more tolerable if the Rain rewrite had not decided a few days ago to hate me and come to a crashing halt. I don't know where I took a wrong turn, I can't fucking figure out what I'm supposed to be doing, and it's making me angry. I'm tired of dropping stories when they run up against a brickwall. I'm not doing fuck anything until Rain cooperates. If I'd done that with Midnight, I would currently not be letting down the person who paid so much money for it.
Bah. Monday fucking sucks, and as per usual when I most need a friend, there is no one around. |

@) I am feeling so much better than my last post! Must be the magic of the well-wishes. ^_^ Thanks, everyone! Oh, and just in case it was the echinacea, zinc, and Vitamins A, B, & C, I totally recommend Hall's Defense or similar products, though some taste nastier than others. The blueberry is pretty good, and the citrus pomegranate is okay, too.

Finished the edits for The Dragon Isles. I mean, I hope I didn't miss anything. Nigh on two damned weeks, I'd better not have missed anything. Yeesh. x_x Also, I hope that after receiving them and reviewing them the author permits me to keep breathing. ^^;; /meep
Woman wanting to send a MoneyGram to her daughter or niece or whoever put 'Georgia' in the country line of the form, and I was so sorely tempted just to send the damned thing there and wait for the fallout. Sure I'd've had to call MoneyGram to make them reverse it and then resend it, but I think we all might have learned a valuable lesson from it: READ the damn paper and fill in the lines accordingly. I really wish I had; it so would have been worth the headache. |

ROFL!!!!! This manga is killing me! i just started...and finished reading Angel Densetsu over at onemanga.com Oh Lord, the LOLz. Its not the best drawn manga evar and it is pretty darn unrealistic, but its cute, and funny as hell with the eternally convenient obliviousness of the main char. PLease read. It'll take a while, but its nice. ANd the random drawings of people and places at the chappie beginnings are pretty cool too.
*sigh* now I wanna draw too.

My doggy is feeling better - got a hold of a walnut from the banana-nut bread I was making. As a dog owner should know - take note! - dogs are extremely allergic to nuts. So... he started turning red, broke out in hives, and most importantly, his throat was swelling. Airway blocked = extremely bad. We had to take him to the Vet twice. Rough. He's mad at us, though. Dogs don't like their temperature being taken, if you know what I mean. Or the shots.
Birthday is coming up on the 13th. Whoo... yeah... whatever. I don't feel like I'll have a good birthday this year. My two best friends are coming over, though. We're going to relax and just bask. That'll be nice. Eh, it all depends if I get a pick-me-up during the week. My work load is halved, now, so less stress for me. More time to focus on developing the plot of my story.
Going to go edit a story now. <3 |

The Graveyard Book totally got to me. That's only the second story in my whole life that made me cry. I loved it. It was also neat that Neil Gaiman read it - nothing could be cooler.

Working on Saturday is loads less painful when I can work upstairs, alone, and listen to Neil Gaiman the entire time. It was damn near heaven.
I realized today that I have not bought manga in forever. This makes me sad. I used to buy it all the time. I don't even have Crimson Spell Vol. 2, and I just learned recently that Higuiri's Ludwig was licensed *.*
Wish I had money to dump on manga, but sadly I do not. Ah, well. It's not going anywhere. It'll still be around when I have money for it.
Supposed to be going out, I do not know when, however. Guess I should figure out who to bother about that.
Or take a nap.
Also, I got a package from France! \o/ Except all the packages inside the big package say I can only open each on a X day AND NONE OF THEM ARE TODAY, AND ONE OF THEM IS JAN. 01 AND THIS IS GOING TO DRIVE ME BATSHIT INSANE. Ahahahahaha. ^___^ Thank you, Koneikaa <3

I wish I was 1337 enough to properly steal it from the adobe flash thing they run, but I am not (nor am I good enough to be using adobe photoshop. I know that no one every means any harm by it, but when the single most common descriptive phrase I hear from people, about me, is "There's something wrong with you," am I not allowed to find it -__- every once in awhile?
Meh.
Ultimately, I do not care. I like me. I just wonder why everywhere I go, that's what people say.
Anyway. I had thought I was going to have a quiet weekend, but it looks like not ^__^ Saturday I work, then I drink lots, and Sunday I am going to look at animals. Somewhere in there, I will finish Kiss the Rain.
Stupid fucking paypal. I told them to use my PNC account as my back up, cause I knew I'd forget to wipe my RBC from it once I closed that account. So what does paypal do? ZOMG RBC DIDN'T WORK WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DOOOOO SO NO GRAVEYARD BOOK FOR YOU AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH.
I wish I could just go out tonight to get it, but no roomie about and if I go to wait for the right bus now, I'll be waiting forever and it's getting colder and colder *sigh* No Mine Lord Gaiman for me this weekend--which really sucks, cause it was the one fucking thing to which I really looking forward.
But, there is compensation. I HAVE A PACKAGE FROM FINLAND HOW FSKING AWESOME IS THAT. |
