I'm feeling pretty ridiculously bored tonight these days as a whole, so I was just wondering if anyone wanted to help out with some fic recommendations, to save me the tedium of having to sift through to find interesting ones on the communities and FFN.

My tastes are pretty simple! I like a more lighthearted humorous or fluffy feel in general (drama for the sake of plot is a-okay, as long as it doesn't have anything to do with rape or drugs), focused more on silly/clever dialogue and actions than heavy paragraphs of description and introspection. Characterization isn't such a huge nitpick with me, since I can appreciate a well-written fic that isn't the most IC thing ever, but I do like the roles to be quirky and fun. My OTP is Sora/Riku(/Kairi), but I'll also be up for reading Sora/Roxas, Axel/Sora, and Axel/Roxas if the plotlines seem interesting enough, and I love any kind of AU or canon. Friendship fic involving any combination of characters, or stories that have close friendship as a huge element in the plot would also be amazing. (And please, decent spelling and grammar!)

Hi guys!

I was just wondering if any of you have an idea about a story that has been haunting me for over a year now.  It is an AkuRoku oneshot that I have had absolutely no luck locating. The story involves Axel in an afterlife of sorts. He is in a field and everything has some form of symbolism attached. I remember something about golden grass or wheat and the sky being a reflection of something or other. The flowers, for example, each hold a memory of some part of his life.

Anywho, so as Axel is wandering his afterlife Roxas appears. They are happy to see one another but then Axel questions as to how Roxas is there as he is still among the living (having merged with Sora). Roxas opens up some kind of ... not portal ... but something so that they can see the real world, and they can see that Sora/Roxas has been in a terrible fight and is bleeding and in a lot of trouble. Roxas explains that he is able to be in Axel's afterlife because he himself is dying. Axel tries to convince him to return, to live, but Roxas just wants to stay there with him. Roxas says something along the lines of it being Sora who is down there in pain and dying and how he is happy and safe and free from pain with Axel there.

I believe Roxas chooses life in the end but I'm really not certain. Anyways - if anyone has any idea about this story I would be forever greatful if they would let me know. I may have gotten certain details mixed up (it HAS been over a year and I've read many AkuRoku stories before and since!) but if you have a story you've read which is similar please let me know! Thanks in advance ;)

I've been searching on and off for this great fan fiction I read around 2005. Sadly, I cannot remember who wrote it or the actual title. From what I can remember, the story started off with Axel falling from the sky and landing in the ocean. He doesn't know who he is, but he learns that he can paint and is hired by a female gallery owner. Later on, he also discovers what seems to be his old house. The story is Axel/Roxas. I hope that's not too vague.

Does anyone know of this fic? If you could point me in the right direction I would be so grateful! Thanks!
