FLASHBACK LUNCH!!
Hey guys. Okay. I was very upset when I didn't hear Flashback Lunch for the past couple days. I had a long drive on the freeway today and I caved in and fucking called KROQ. Apparently, management decided to cut Flashback Lunch out of the programming. They said they were going to try different things and for now, our precious Flashback Lunch is on an indefinite hiatus, or break, or whatever. I mean, I even asked him how long this hiatus would be for and he didn't even know, because there was no set date. Sad times! So, no Flashback Lunch. This makes me so upset! I would sometimes skip class to listen to Flashback Lunch! I don't know how I can look at KROQ now without that one hour! Seriously. This totally sucks. But, that's basically the deal. No Flashback Lunch for a while because management has decided to cut it out to try different projects. The guy answering the phones DID tell me, however, that management is listening to what the public has to say and I was pretty upset. So, I'm sure it will get to management somehow. I suggest we all write strongly worded letters. Seriously guys. Sadness. I'm going to go stick my head in a record player until Flashback Lunch comes back on. Ralph's emails
Has anyone ever had Ralph read one of their emails? If so, about how many days pass until he reads it? I emailed him on Friday, (a "Heat of the Moment" thing regarding Bean's blog) and have no frame of reference of when I should keep an ear out for it, or if I've missed it or what. (Not that I'm confident he's going to read it; it might be too lame.) He reads it after the Showbiz Beat, right? And does he only read it after the first Showbiz Beat (betweeen 7:30 and 8:00), or does he also after the second one? Did he read one today? So many questions! How gay! Sorry. I was on the radio!
This morning the guys took calls for inappropriately cold break-ups, and I was the first caller. I told them how my girlfriend of two years broke up with me over AOL instant messenger. Bye Bye Fresno...
Nobody really posts in here very often, but maybe someone is paying attention and has an answer for me. I reside in Fresno and Kevin and Bean were being broadcasted here in the mornings on a local alternative radio station. As of January 1st, they're no longer being broadcasted here and have been replaced by Stern's replacement...Adam Corolla. Worst morning show ever. Have Kevin and Bean mentioned it at all? I'm pretty curious to find out why they're no longer being broadcasted but I'm not sure how to get the answer...so maybe someone in here can enlighten me? Friday morning at 5:50-ish, my sister was the caller who got on the air for the "what is your deal?" segment. She talked about how there is a talking doll on ebay for that crazy religious lady from "Trading Spouses" I'll listen to Cott's recording to check it out (like I'm gonna be up at 6 in the morning!!) The best part is that she's giving ME the tickets to the Drum Off at the Wiltern!! |
