This Last Icon Maker Standing community features the beautiful and talented Keira Knightley!
The community was passed to [info]spriink in January 2008 from [info]callingpiper.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask either of the mods: [info]spriink or [info]quiddity_.

RULES

[01] In order to participate in this contest, you must sign up at the beginning of each session. The sign-up is open until the voting for round one goes up. If you missed signing up for this session, check back for the next one.

[02] Everybody automatically gets one skip. This allows you to not enter one round without being eliminated. However, skips may not be used in the first round or the final three rounds (when there are 5 people left). If you fail to enter an icon in those rounds or when you've already used your skip, you'll be disqualified.

[03] Each week, the new round is posted and you have to enter your icon by the deadline. During the week you can change your entry as often as you want. Whatever icon you enter must remain anonymous until the results for the round are posted.

[04] All effects except animation are allowed unless otherwise stated in the round post. Some rounds will have special rules. Please make sure you read them carefully. When a round has no special rules, you can do whatever you want with the icon (except animation).

[05] Each round there will be a Mod's Choice award and a People's Choice award. The People's Choice is determined by votes. Participants must vote in order to be eligible for either of the weekly awards. Whomever wins the People's Choice will be given IMMUNITY for the next round. It's discouraged for you to use your skip that week since you'll have immunity.

[06] When voting, you must supply decent reasons for eliminations AND favorites. This means that you can't use personal preferences. "I just don't like that style" is NOT a valid reason. Favorites do NOT cancel out elimination votes. Also, you may not vote for yourself or ask others to vote for you.

[07] Some sessions might have a comeback round depending on the amount of participants who originally signed up. This round will be for everyone who was originally signed up but was eliminated during the session. The comeback round gives you a chance to be brought back in.

[08] Make sure you're aware of the weekly schedule (below). Most of the time, rounds and voting end at about 7:00pm EST. Also, adding the community to your friends list is probably a good idea so you see reminders and such.

[09] All icons must be made brand new and specifically for this contest. You MUST use the picture(s) provided.
SCHEDULE

Sunday - The picture for the round goes up.
Friday - No more icons will be accepted. The voting will go up.
Sunday - The voting ends, and the winners are announced.

**PLEASE NOTE that each action above will happen on or after 7:00pm (EST), so be sure to get your stuff in before that time.
