Oprah has a book club.

kben has a movie club.

Each week a movie will be selected. Any comments, questions, discussions about said movie will remain in the thread where the week’s selection is posted. Once something is posted, you can watch the movie at anytime.

The groundrules:

A. You don’t have to like every movie, but you must give every movie a chance before discussing it. This means watching the WHOLE THING. Some movies only pay off in the last ten minutes. Some movies have a slow beginning. Some movies are just bad. But you won’t know that unless you watch the entire thing.

2. Please spellcheck. It's not a request, it's a way of life. A few typos now and then are okay, but no TYEPING LEIK DIS!!@!@!214543111!.

d. No flaming. Racism, homophobia, and any related intolerant activity is unacceptable. You're welcome to engage in intelligent debate over people's essays, but please be constructive. Use common sense. It's that thing that tells you not to eat out of the litter box.

Overall, this is meant to be fun. SO HAVE SOME ALREADY!

I’ll be picking the first selection, but following that, I’m planning to organize a way that will allow other people to choose what we’ll be watching.
