My roses setup

This is the rubber band configuration that worked best for me for getting one million roses:

You definitely want to be doing this on the ice rink/snowman level. Make sure the right stick is pointed straight up, and adjust the angle of the left one so that you're making fairly wide loops around the rink-- from the outside edge to about the center of the island, more or less.

Thanks muchly. Mine was all messed up, and I only got about 25k roses in 8 hours. Hopefully this one'll be better.

If you get it tuned correctly, you should be able to do at least 50K in 8 hours.

Hey, that's working much better than the setup I had before. Thanks for sharing the photos.

This goes without saying, but actually playing the million roses level(s) involves less total game time. I'm an upper-average sort of player, but I still do a little more than 10K an hour when I'm just meandering. Still, I can't play quite as long as your setup can. Kudos.

BTW, some of my friends have found it helpful to switch levels every 2500 roses -- approx. 15 minutes -- so that you can start out with a whole slew of bunches ready when you immediately jump back into a level.

Pause the game with the start button. Restart the level. Voila! Everything's automatically respawned.

Don't actually exit and change levels because (a) it takes too long, and (b) you usually don't' wind up in the ice level.

If you're playing an autopilot solution, it's really not worth it. Just let it go on its way and ignore everything.

those damn ice skaters piss me off and mess up my tuning... any relief for that?

I find the skaters are useful, since they bounce you out of a predictable pattern.
