[22 Jun 2005|01:55pm] neleke [ mood | calm ] Kane is back and how! Completely fearless :) How is everyone liking the new cd? I didn't like it that much at first but it grew on me and now I think it's their best cd so far. I told Martijn this and he agreed with me. LOL. Anyways, I'm new here, I love Kane :) I've been fortunate enough to meet all of the band and to see them live. I received this on my e-mail: ____________________________ KANE - February available in stores from tomorrow Keyboards, acoustic guitar, sax and trumpet. Dinand as you've never seen him before. Drummer Martijn Bosman keeps the rhythm with brushes. Manuel Hugas works the bass and Dennis shows his unrivaled skill on guitar. February gives us a completely new perspective on the style of Kane. February was recorded in the spring of 2003 at the Pepsi Stage in Amsterdam. This concert shows the musicians sitting on a round turning podium dressed in suites surrounded by a very intimate stage for the fans. Be swept away by the talented and versatile singer Dinand Woesthoff, the virtuous guitarist Dennis van Leeuwen and the other brilliant band members as the show their through musical vibe. Changing from an emotional crooner to an upsweeping stage performer. Never before have we seen Dinand bring the blues with so much heart. WEEEHH! [04 May 2004|07:29pm] _samsara By Dennis at the official site: Last week Kane was in sunny sunny Portugal for a two day promo trip. Portugal is already familiar with Kane because of a Radio hit we had with I will keep my head down. We played shows in oPorto and Lisboa and played on a big student festival. This all happened 2,5-3 years ago. It was great to be back!Portugal is, as you might know, the host for the European Championships 2004. No wonder, with both Portugal and The Netherlands in this competition, we got a lot of football questions. We have to say that we are pretty convinced that we will win the championships. But so are the British, The Swedish, The Danish, The French and so on...It looks like we are going to be in Portugal during the Championship to do some Dutch tv shows and hopefully get to play in Portugal aswell.During are trip we did a lot of interviews for radio and tv. Some of them will also be available on the web. I will check out the links, for you to be able to see and or hear the interview. I am also working on a small videoclip of our trip... Kane in Portugal, Germany... [25 Apr 2004|05:52pm] _samsara 21 April 2004 That Kane is on a roll in Europe we already know. But it keeps getting better and better. Dinand and Dennis went to Portugal for a couple of days to make the people over there Kane-(in)sane. that's what klanecluppie tells us. From Be-Kane They sure made me Kane-(in)sane :P Coincidence that the news in on the same date as my birthday ;) Also, from the official website, in the section diary, 05/04/2005: The gig in Milan is a showcase for the Italian press and media to get to know KANE. I must say I really have a good feeling about Italy. Although we only have played once before (on the Imola circuit, one of the largest festivals of Italy), In my opinion, we are doing quite well in the temperamental countries like Italy, Spain and Portugal.
