kamelotfans, a community for, well, you guessed it, Kamelot fans! Discuss information, music, and anything else relating to this power-metal band.
Okay, so here are a few simple guidelines to go by, and they're easy to follow:
1) No off-topic posts. You may talk about the band, about how sexy one of the members is, your favorite song, album, etc. You may even talk about bands that have similar sounds to Kamelot's, and invite us to check them out. You may upload and post songs to the community, via a fileshare website, such as mediafire.com, or sendspace.com. You can most definitely go off-topic in your discussions in comments.
2) Do NOT post unrelated stuff, such as "OMG So today I went to the store and bought shoes and a top and jeans." Okay, we don't care, save that for your personal journal. If it's a store run that involves finding a Kamelot CD you don't have, or meeting a band member there, that's fine.
3) Be courteous. You can disagree with people, and even get into debates, but flat out rudeness and insults will get you suspended, and in more serious or repeat offenses, get you banned.
4) I cannot stress this enough - NO PORNOGRAPHY. If we have members under 18, and you post something pornographic [which is offtopic anyway], we can get in trouble with LiveJournal AND the authorities, and that will not end up pretty.
5) D0 N0tT tYp3 LyKe DiSs CuZ ULL L00k LyKe aN iDi0tt. pLuS we CnT R3aD iT. [This took me about five minutes to write. No joke.] Anyway, we like proper grammar. Use punctuation. We don't want an entire paragraph that's a single run-on sentence.
6) Do NOT make up stuff about the band that is not true. Your post will be deleted as soon as we see it. If it's a rumor about the band, clearly label that it is a RUMOR. For posts on news/rumors about Kamelot, be sure to cite your sources. =)
7) Most of us don't enjoy promotions of other communities. If you feel it relates to Kamelot, fine. But if it's a Paris Hilton fan club, it's not going to be up for long.
8) Daniella and I [Katie] are really nice, and we're lenient. Don't piss us off.

This is not a rating community, but we do ask you to fill out a short survey. This is simply to get to know our members just a little more and about their backgrounds.
