| WELCOME You awaken in a heavy daze with the comforting smell of fresh baked cookies wafting around you. The pâtissier gives a faulty smile as he ushers you out of his pantry, seeming kindly aware that a stranger or two wandering through is nothing out of the ordinary. Beyond the erotic shaped sweets, in a small bakery no different than any other, is a city most unfamiliar. Kakistocrati is a state ruled by the unfit; a place where stability is nearly impossible. Time, death, and other simple concepts become muddled and pointless. It's a realm where chaos and destruction come head to head with peace and quiet from day to day. Buildings will rebuild themselves only to be taken back down by Cloverfield or by pointless quarrels. As if the constant fear and confusion isn't enough, every once and a while the unfortunate citizens of KC are booted somewhere completely different. You can either adapt to the haphazardness or try to escape it. There is only one way into the realm of Kakistocrati and no way out. RULES ⇒❶While Kakistocrati is pretty lenient on characterization, we still expect a level of IC from our members, this is not a 4chan trolling rp. We recommend lurking for a day or two if you are unsure of what we mean. ⇒❷We have no problem with Godmoding but there is a reasonable limit that keeps it fun for everyone. Metagaming should be used as sparingly as possible, the fourth wall here is a brittle old woman. ⇒❸When you're applying, make sure to include a really random fact about your character to include in your application. Place the random fact at the very END of your application, not hidden in the character description. This will let us know you read the rules. ⇒❹ Respect each other. If you have a game-related issue, take it to the mods. If you have a private issue with a member, take it outside of the rp. ⇒❺ A good portion of our arc and meme planning (as well as other activities) goes on within our community AIM chat (see contact information). It'll make it much more convenient and fun for you if you participate in chat.
