I am, once again, starting over. Haha, no one can claim that I do not love Kakashi.
Firstly, I apologize to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bepopfaye profusely. She was the only person who entered the last challenge, aside from me, and I know she took time out of a very busy schedule to participate. I would like to thank her for her enthusiasm, and hope she does return. Unfortunately, her photobucket links have expired, so I will be posting an exclusively bepopfaye voting for her if I can get a hold of those icons again, just if he or she would like to find out which icon was the best from the batch.
Secondly, welcome all the new members, and I hope to see you participating actively. Yosh.
Now, let's start over, back at week one.
Your theme - Kakashi, and it probably will never get simpler than that, considering Kakashi is everywhere in this community. With this I really just want to see how many of you are here to participate, vote or just watch. Bases can be submitted to this week's contest if you so wish. So, please, take a minute to make something and another one to submit it.
1. Your icon must have Kakashi
2. It must be a still frame - no animations
3. It must fit LJ's user pic standards.
4. You may submit an unlimited number of icons. =)
Do not advertise your icon till the following sunday when the results will be posted.
Your deadline is Friday, May 5, 2006. Good luck and I again hope to see some submissions.

All right, so from a lack of submissions this place went on a hiatus. But then, twi things have come to my attention.
1. Avoid character challenges
2. More people joined - therefore I assume people still want to participate in the challenge.
Hopefully most of you guys are here to make icons (and vote), rather than just collect a large number of communities on you user info page. IT's really misleading when we have, say, 10 members and just 2 of them submitting.
So, in hopes of resurrecting this commmunity, I'm going to post challenges on a weekly basis. No challenges will be extended. If we get two or more submissions, there will be a vote. Is we sadly get only one icon, then, by default they will be the winner. Never worry about being the only one submitting because I will submit every week. If after a few weeks I find that I am the only one making Kakashi icons, then I will go on a haitus and try again. Fair enough?
Edit: The userinfo has been changed. Update yourself perhaps, on the reworded rules. ♥
That being said, your theme for week 08 is ninja. It's almost a free for all theme, since Kakashi is a ninja and every icon must have Kakashi. However, if you want to go beyond that and experiment with something, feel free. Just keep in mind:
1. Your icon must have Kakashi

ok, well since no one submitted this week, i will just post a new theme and void the old one....
this weeks theme will be
BLACK AND WHITE....
same rules apply....
-the icons can NOT have any colors besides black, white, and gray....
icons are to be submitted by the 25th at 9PM....
we need submissions.... if we dont get enough.... this community will be out on hiatus or closed down.... SO SUBMIT!

Nice to see increasing number of entries for the contest. Let's make this week as pretty as the previous one, shall we?
This week's theme is a little different, if you want it to be. It's a character theme which is still as open to interpretation as you wish. I know, you already have one mandatory character to deal with, and really, who needs a second? But I just wanted to try and see what you guys come up with for the new theme:
Iruka
*Shoves her slashy mind into a garbage can*
Iruka, in my head, is two things. In Naruto, he's the cute, chuunin teacher who is quite often seen with Kakashi because of the infamous trio. So, this challenge isn't that difficult because they are frequently together in both the anime and manga.
Iruka is also the japanese word for "dolphin". Now, you can interpret dolphin as you wish. You can use the word dolphin or the animal or a crest or the color blue. Anything really that portrays the theme. Maybe the word iruka means something else in another language. Feel free to use it as you wish.
So, let's sum it up. Your icon must have:
1. Kakashi, or some part of him. No, Icha Icha isn't a part of him.
2. The theme - Iruka - portrayed in some way.
3. Absolutely no animation.
4. LJ standards of 100/100 and less than 40 kb.
5. rating of G. God knows how many 11 year olds hang around here.

Well, Week 6 already....
This theme will be a Hush....
this means you can use whatever pics you want aslong as kakashi is it it.... but there cannot be ANY words.... if you use small text brushes, i should NOT be able to read what they say.... we really need to get someone submissions.... lately there have only been like 4 a week.... we REALLY need more people participating....
-The icon should feature Kakashi somehow....
-The icon can feature someone else besides Kakashi, as long as he IS in it....
-You can enter up to 3 icons....
-All icons MUST fit LJ standards 100x100....
-Icons can NOT be animated....
you can submit until Friday Nov. 4th at MIDNIGHT!!!!

Sorry for the lack of a reminder this week. I was sick and still am. ^^
Well, onwards to the voting.
Remember:
1. Vote 3 icons. (First: #, Second: #, Third: # OR #, #, # in order.)
2. Try not to vote for your own icon. If you think it is the best, then feel free, but vote fairly.
3. Voting ends on Monday at 5:00 pm. I extended it because I did post this one fairly late.
Also note: There will be no mod's choice this week. I'd rather have 3 place winners than two placed and one mod's choice. =)

Sorry about the delays. I was waiting to see if the picutres I requested would come in. ^^ I didn't have the pictures used on icons, so I used other ones I thought were relevant.
If anyone wants their banner redone, please tell me.

Sorry I've been gone for so long. Stuff in IRL has been bogging me down for the past few days. ^^
Let's see, a theme the official fifth week shall be:
Icha Icha Paradise
It's an important part of Kakashi's life after all. Your icon must have both Kakashi and something affiliated with Icha Icha. This can be the book Icha Icha, crack!pr0n, Jiraiya, humor me. Remember, just because it links back to porn doesn't give you the right to break LJ rules. Minors surf around here so be tasteful and use discretion.
And as always, have fun! And of course enter. Come one guys, themes aren't so hard. And you guys like icon making, right?
Remember, no animated icons. All icons must be made for this contest, alias not advertised before. It is a contest, let's keep it fair.
You may submit two icons. Submission ends when I put the voting post up, which will be on Friday, October 28th night, or Saturday, October 29th morning.
