Published monthly in LaLa magazine, it is the first series by Fujiwara Hiro. Kaichou wa Maid-Sama is about high school student Ayuzawa Misaki. She is the president of a formerly all-boys school, Seika Koukou, and is determined to protect the few girls in it and make it a better place. But after school is over, she works as a maid at a cafe. When one of the students, Usui Takumi, one of the most popular boys in the school, finds out her secret, she's afraid he'll blackmail her. When she goes to school the next day, expecting everyone to know, she finds out he doesn't tell anyone, and is completely surprised. The story is mainly about Misaki and Usui, their relationship, and the fun Usui has teasing her and such. | |
