It's been fifteen years since the epic war between the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo tampered away to nothing, leaving the Soul Society in ruins. Many of the best shinigami they had to offer were dead and gone, long ago returned to the normal cycle of rebirth. Or at least, they should have been. But something has gone wrong.
