This is Vee of PINK WOTA, that weird, fruity essay blog dealing almost exclusively with female idols and supposedly deep issues. See, "deep issues" is super-seekrit code for "I'm trying to assuage my conscience with some academic-style writing after finding my eyes glued to Maimi for an entire concert video". Everything is going ~*great*~ at Pink Wota, but there's just one little thing - I am also an incurable J-Fangirl. This extends beyond my obvious, long-fostered, comfortable attachment to Hello!Project, avex trax, and whatever other warbling Asian songbird(s) strikes my fancy. Sadly, I just couldn't reconcile the mission statement behind Pink Wota itself with the giddy, off-the-cuff, often-unintelligible blather I'd spout off upon any mention of what my best friend and I affectionately refer to as "Our Boys".

My best friend is Ashkta, co-contributor to this blog, and my partner in crime where inappropriate ikemen thoughts are concerned. She often has a particular brand of...er...insight into matters concerning our boys, and no, she doesn't give a damn what YOU think.

Thus, 'Date Kouji Can't Stop Crying', our attempt at a J-Boys-centric blog. Best to keep this lovingly removed from the harsh reality of Pink Wota, where I have to pretend to be intelligent, put thought into my writing, and not use "the f". On this blog you will find profiles, pimps, ramblings, and exultations of an entirely fangirl nature. We make no apologies! Obviously, since I started a blog for it...

I just think it's time J-Boys who may not necessarily be involved in Johnny's Entertainment got a nice little leg-up in the J-Fandom (I can, in fact, add "J-" before any word and immediately be referring to something...I'm not quite sure what. IT MIGHT NOT BE THE OBVIOUS "JAPAN" - it might be..."Jellicle". It might be "Jellybeans?" I really need to get off the jelly kick. It might be "Jet-Powered"? idek). So. Movie Reviews? Little Known Actor's Sub-Par Mini Album Reviews? Photobook reviews (though it may be some time until we can afford our own books and, therefore, scans for these projects...we're poor like Kenny). Profiles. That sort of bull honkus.

Oh yeah, and this blog will likely be heavily peppered with my Shameful Interest #1246 = ~*SLASH*~. You know, the gay stuff. RPS. Lots of that, likely, though with the exception of a few movie reviews (not those sort of movies...though Go Guy Plus makes it difficult to resist) it will be mostly just fluff and talk and "lol buttsecks", you know how it is.

Interested? Take a look at the interests list. Those are pretty much the boys we love. We draw especial attention to "D-BOYS", because those guys own our fangirl hearts, plain and simple.

As for Date Kouji himself...no. He can't stop crying. But he is the JyanKenPWN master, which makes up for it. You know how it be.
