The com is members only, but it's easy to join, just make a request. The only criteria is that you have an active journal - i.e. entries, friends, etc. Empty journals will generally not be added, but may be considered at the discretion of the mods. Consider it a quirk - we don't like empty journals.
I think the name pretty much sums up the point of this community -- To share our mutual love and respect of this incredibly charismatic and talented man. No arguing, no bashing, no wank, and absolutely no shipper agendas welcome.
Just Tom, in every incarnation: from Music Video Stud to Male Victim #1 to the gorgeous and heroic Clark Kent, and every appearance in-between.
To share...means not signing up just to lurk and copy pictures. There are no posting requirements, but participation, is what makes or breaks a community so please join in. You don't have to be an artist, or a vidder to participate. Simply posting your favorite Tom pics, screencaps, or even making a fun Tom-Gushing post is all good.
Rules - I'm not a huge fan of rules, this is a private community so there is a bit more freedom than on a public forum. There are only a few common sense things to keep in mind.
* NO Tom bashing. D'uh. Tom chatter and gossip is fine, just make sure that rumors are labeled as such.
* If you wander off-topic *occasionally*, no one's going to slap your wrist.
* Use LJ cuts and thumbnails out of courtesy to those with dial-up services. If you need help with imageshack or photobucket to host pictures, just ask.
* If someone asks that their pictures not be reposted, then please honor that.
* Credit when you can; it's the polite thing to do.
* As stated above, no shipping comments, or bashing of any other SV characters/actors. There are a zillion of other places for that kind of interaction. This is a haven away from all that.
* Do NOT disable comments. That kind of defeats the purpose, ya know?
That doesn't mean you can't post any pictures *as part of a Tom-centric picspam* that show Tom/Clark engaged in a heated lip lock with someone/anyone. But use common sense and don't push the shipper agenda. If the mods find any picspams or entries that they judge to be more shipper-focused as opposed to just Tom focused, they will be deleted and the poster given a warning.
Finally - Suggestions are very welcome! So feel free to post or email any suggestions/comments concerning this community.
