Yeah, even if they have freckles, it's not that noticeable. But I think other than their skin complexion, the climate also plays a part. Especially places that really have four seasons.

Usually only the very fair skinned get freckles, when they are exposed under the sunlight for too long. My cousin has freckles and she has very fair sensitive skin. Juri was an active athlete in her school days, so I reckon her freckles are a result of that. Freckles can get lightened over time, but I think she's adorable the way she is. :)
