[News] Oricon Style's most favourite actor/actress poll (15/7/08)
So Oricon Style had a poll for the females readers...and as to be expected, our Juri-chan got #1 for favourite actress~! =D

From the female readers' comments, other than praising her ability to act various roles, one word is repeated the most..."kakkoi"(cool)~ X3 Indeed.

As for the other female actresses, #2 Ayase Haruka, #3 Aoi Yu. Nagasawa Masami got #6...eheh. I guess if the poll is for guys, there's a high probability she would have won. (In another poll, when given the choice of who they like better, Ueno Juri or Nagasawa Masami, 75% of girls choose Juri-chan while 65% of guys choose Masami.) Anyhow, Ruka's popularity among the viewers definitely helped.

For favourite actor, #1 Mizushima Hiro, #2 Tamaki Hiroshi, #3 Tsumabuki Satoshi and Eita (tied). Yay for Tamaki, Eita and Tsumabuki~ Good thing comes to you when you work together with Juri. Haha. =3

Yay for Juri-chan! I'm glad Aoi Yu also ranked high. She's also great.:)

I'm not surprised she won. All the girls probably found her really hot in Ruka-mode.:D I wonder by how much Juri-chan won though.

Lol~ I think girls either find her hot or cool after Ruka. ^^ As for the other 2 actresses, glad to see that like Juri, they're also more than just pretty faces. Ayase Haruka won the previous best actress award for her awesome role in Daisuki! while Aoi Yu have really been charmingly good in her roles so far. So, congrats to the 3 of them. =)

Actually, Ayase Haruka won the Nikkansports award for best supporting actress in The Fantastic Deerman. It was Karina who won the best actress award for Daisuki!! in the Drama Academy awards.

I first saw Mizushima Hiro in HanaKimi. I don't know if it's his character but didn't like him then and I haven't change my mind. Haha. =P

yayyyy!! aren't a big fan of the boys results and holy shocked that yamapi didn't get in... not that i care at all.... but i do like tsumabuki and eita :D and must say mizushima is much bigger than i thought he was O_O

but for the girls!! my favourite girl of all AYASE HARUKA got 2nd place!!! and my 2nd fave girl Aoi Yuu tied for 3rd too!

Yamapi haven't been in any dramas until Code Blue recently so it could be a reason. But girls voting for male actors...looks definitely play a big role. I didn't expect Mizushima to be top spot either. But I'm happy with the other 3. ^^

Aww, Juri isn't one of your favourite girls? Heh. I trust that result more than the guy's result in terms of measuring their ability to act. ^^

I think so as well...teenage girls voting for favorite actors is more based on "who is currently hot" kinda thing, whereas for girls to actually like and support another girl (actress), she'd have to win their respect in acting skills and character(in a way, be someone they look up to) that I presume Juri has. Juri ichiban kakoii! ^__^

Exactly~ ^^ But I think in Juri's case, the thought that 'she's hot' has certainly crossed some teenage girls' mind after seeing Ruka in a tux. Lol. ;)

Oh yes, Ruka definitely brought out another side to Juri's charm, lol. I think Juri is the only Japanese actress who can be described as hot, cool and cute at the same time. ;-D

Oh, are the voters girls? Lol, yeah, Ruka is obviously more popular than Michiru. I really hate Michiru's character, so helpless. But I love the way masami portrayed it. :D
