Ueno Juri Spinning Around on Stage

Today was the stage greeting event for Kishitani Goro’s directorial debut "Killer Virgin Road" with actress Ueno Juri in the starring role.

Kishitani gave everyone from the leading cast a bunch of flowers to express his gratitude for their work, but this didn’t really turn out the way he thought when was trying to give Ueno the flowers. She took his hand and suddenly started to spin around with him on stage. It was an odd and fun moment that once again showed that Ueno is really one of a kind. "Please warn me before you do something like that," Kishitani replied with a bitter smile. You can’t spin a middle-aged man like that, Ueno! :3

The movie tells the story of a strange friendship between a woman who wants to get married (Ueno) and a woman who wants to die (Kimura Yoshino) and so far it looks like that the two of them had a really good chemistry at the set. "They really hit it off! It was so amazing!" Kishitani commented, but he quickly got bashed by both of them. "It was all unintentional, though." Kimura replied. Ueno too, "It was nothing special, right?", demonstrating that something like that was nothing special for them.

Hi. Erm I hope requests are allowed. I've read the rules but it doesn't mention anything about requests and err there isn't a tag for requests.

I was wondering if anyone has the episode of Tokyo Friend Park 2 with Juri which aired on 10th Sept 2009. If you do, could you share it here, please? I love TFP2 and Juri is such fun on it from the previous one I saw her in so it would be great to watch this episode too.

Finally it's available for download. The theme song of Ueno Juri to Itsutsu no Kaban is named "Kaban no Banka" (カバンのバンカ). Though it's just one-minute long, but at least we can enjoy her own-composed song. Sugoi! This girl is a real talent.

Lovely Co-star

This is one of the filming scene in "Nodame Cantabile Final Chapter".
Because the location shooting this time was done in various parts of Europe, there were also various different GUESTS in each countries shooting together.
In the picture is the boy who was selected in Paris audition.
After a trial shooting with some of the candidates at the site, we felt that he match Juri chan the most, so that's how it was deciced.
This time there will also have many Nodame-liked foreigners roles appear one after another.

It's very spy/assassin like. A gun hidden under the newspaper, a wig as disguise...I've always wanted to see her in a role like that. Even though it's not for a drama or movie, this is still awesome! Looking forward to more of these! XD
