Oh, my oldest and my favorite of them all. Kaoru I've had for... around two years-ish. He started off okay, and well it was during the time where "no one gives a fuck" and thus he became what he is now. Utterly fabulous, can't-get-gayer, fat, but above all still precious to me. I didn't totally throw out everything that is Kaoru. I've made sure to keep the fact that yes, he has a bit of a brother complex, and yes he is very concerned. Being without Hikaru off and on was a bit of a pain for me, and more so for Kaoru. Every time he lost someone, whether it be friend or family, he'd take a hit, which any normal person should. He's the first normal character I've ever had, with no special abilities or anything, and so I've tried to make him be the most human? However, he has a bit of a few flaws in canon, like he's very selfless, and he pushes people away from him, which he's done at KC with Zack a couple of times before finally buckling down and throwing that shit away. He has insecurities like he's not good enough and people deserve better (this is from the fact he pushed Hikaru away and felt like Hikaru deserved better). He's still friends with everyone he was friends with in the Host Club and he hasn't cut any ties. Hikaru is still his brother and things like that, and he handles things in a way I think he would? He's always the comforting person, and when a change of scenery happens, he tries to adapt in the quickest way possible, but sometimes he's shaken up.

NOW, time for more flaws. The whole "honey i'm fabulous" thing... I have no idea how that happened. But, it makes him funny I guess. He's turned into a beautiful fashion designer (since he'd take over the business with hikaru after his mom in the manga) and he's just downright fab. He loves to shop, and he loves clothes canonly so I've tied it in, and he's not afraid to show who he is anymore. He's very flashy, and the PDA of his brotherly love act sets up the PDA with Zack, though it took him some time to actually get to that level. But I still have no idea where it came from, I just know it won't go away. Same goes for him and the many vices he's been through. A few drinks every Saturday with Lelouch turned into a bad habit, but he broke it after Vegas with Lelouch since that was all bad. It was hilarious but it was a wake up call, even if it wasn't an intentional one (it was an event at a musebox which I chose to bring to KC since it'd help with the habit). Shopping is still a vice since... well, clothes. Hi. NEXT IS THE FAT THING AHAH ohgod. He was pretty fat in canon (not literally, but the food he consumed in this one chapter jesus) and when Lelouch and Kaoru had Cinnabon, it just took off on it's own. He's actually did the responsible thing and hit the gym and shit since that's when you do when you want to prevent actually gaining too much weight, and he's back to being a disturbing eater who puts maple syrup on everything.

I know he's not super IC and I'm okay with that. His development in the respect of friendships and his relationship with Zack has changed him drastically. He's actually out of his shell and has grown up himself; in canon, he was focused on Hikaru growing up. Without having Hikaru for a significant period, he was allowed to grow up, himself.

I just know for certain he will never be off my fucking switcher because I love his fatass.

Ohhhh Rolo. He's been the one that I'm really self-conscious about and I know I've screwed him up. He's not as bad as Kaoru, I don't think, but I really wish I could actually grasp some IC on him. He's very socially awkward, seeing as he doesn't really communicate with people because of LOL I'M A KILLER, and he's still very brother complex-y, since Lelouch is a key factor of who he is. He's very possessive and can be very cold-blooded, if he needs to be. The thing is, he's gotten really soft. I've pictured it more as "all right, I've died and now I have a chance to be human" since he only felt human after he made his own decision to risk his life for Lelouch. I've also thought that by being more "human" he'd be like how he was in the beginning, where he was Lelouch's brother and he had no memories. He'd be happy, and he'd be caring (to a very... abnormal extent) to those who cared for him (i.e., Zuko). The people he's with and his environment also change him. He has to put up the front that he's just very shy around others to avoid people, and to avoid possible conflict.

That doesn't mean he's abandoned his killer instincts. He's killed, and he still fights, whether that be at a shooting range or in Silent Hill for training. He wouldn't allow himself to get rusty in a place like KC because it might be required he needs to kill. He couldn't just drop his weapons and say "I'm done I'm going to be normal". No matter how much he'd want to be human or normal, he's still an assassin, and he's been raised that way, so he still has the need to be a perfectionist and a killer.

On the subject of killing, going after Suzaku was... I don't know, I just thought he'd probably feel the need to avenge his brother, even he understood what the circumstances of his death were. I don't think he'd be happy to know his brother had to suffer the pain of dying, like he had. His automatic instinct is to kill, anyway, so he went after him. It didn't end up like he hand planned, and with coaxing from both Zuko and Lelouch, he gave up (seeing as Suzaku wouldn't die anyway).

Hooo what else. Okay, on the subject of relationships. SANO WAS A TOTAL ACCIDENT I did not plan for a relationship but it was on hilarious circumstances. It was more physical than anything, but in Rolo's warped mind I think he felt that's what a relationship was about. It was just knowing that he was wanted was what made him stay. He did care for Sano, no doubt about it, but it was a rocky set up (he only did it so he could replace Nunnally again and hope for it to be permanent). Then along came Zuko. Zuko and Lelouch, very ironically, have similarities, being Princes who were exiled one of them and they're abusive. Rolo also had a connection to Zuko in the fact they're just POOR MISUNDERSTOOD TEENAGERS. Yadda yadda yadda, first emotional relationship, which was also pretty rocky but it's Rolo he's made of fail and social stupidity. Being with Zuko made him a bit softer in the fact he felt like he was more human since he had a romantic connection to someone and could be normal and not worry about being left because he was A PSYCHOTIC MURDERER. He also puts up with any abuse because Lelouch was worse. At least it's all only verbal!!! He's very possessive and bit obsessive over Zuko since he gives him so much attention and he's loved. Oh what problems you have, Rolo. His love also transcends boundaries, like if they were female or if Zuko was female and he wasn't, vis versa, he'd still love him the same. It's not the matter of GURRRL I'M GAY it's a matter of "this person really cares for me, and i care for them!! *A*". He could have very well fell in love with a female, so. :P

Other things that happened that idk why it did: him being OCD. I don't get it, it just happened. I think it's the whole THIS HAS TO GET DONE SO I NEED TO BE PERFECT- THAT DOILIE IS OUT OF LINE!!! Also I don't get why he doesn't eat things with bird in it like eggs and shit. I just don't know, it's more of a joke than anything. Like him being a part of PETA. HE ISN'T REALLY OKAY DON'T WORRY i wouldn't do that. I just like joking around that he is and that he bakes cookies for the meetings at his place. He also fucking loves his sun conure he loves that bitch.

FLAWS: I think he's too soft and I need to rewatch up to 19 (lol ;w;) for R2 this summer so I can hopefully get more confident with him. I love him though he's a creeper. I love it even more when he can go insane thanks Nala for black blood. Insane Rolo is hot shit k.

OH SHOOJIN OHHH ohgod. I'm so worried about him but Eryn says I'm perfect WHICH I THINK IS BS. I know we should canon update them but shit went down and I think that'd affect what has happened in KC too drastically so I won't. :) He's just a giddy otaku who has a thing for his bff
I know that's OOC BUT WHATEVER we made it try to seem IC in the way and manner of how they dealt with it. HE'S NOT AS GAY AS SAY KAORU THOUGH. He's actually pretty straight, so he's my little bisexual pumpkin. But only bi for Saiko and maybe Kamina but everyone is gay for Kamina so it doesn't count! He still writes stories and still can't sometimes adjust to KC since it's so drastically different from his world, and he's normal just like Kaoru sooo. I think he finds it awesome though, seeing all the characters he's read canons from. Sometimes I feel he's too otaku but w/e. He's an otaku k. K.

I don't have too many problems with him, but I'm just self conscious. Oops.

Also he won't handle Miyoshi and Miho like LOL GUUURL PLZ HE'S MINE NOW. He'll probably just... try to talk to them like "look, neither of us expected this to happen, but it did and this is how it is please don't kill me miyoshi" kind of thing. He won't be like many people may think like [RAPES SAIKO] HE'S MINE NOW GURLFRAN

that's just terrifying.

And like Rolo he'll love Saiko no matter the gender he is!! THAT'S HOW FAR MY LOVE GOES FOR YOU SAIKO PUT ON THIS MAID OUTFIT SO I CAN FEEL HETEROSEXUAL!
