i got a paid account today!!
and some new icons. mostly brandon boyd icons, but i'm sure i will have a ~variety~ before too long.
yesterday i went to lunch with my mom. we went to olive garden. it was so fucking good. after that we went to best buy. mom bought some cds and she bought me the incubus alive at red rocks dvd! omg i'm in heaven. i'd seen it before cause rachel has it but omg now i OWN it.
brandon looks so fucking good in it. (my icon for this post is him dancing in the dvd, jsyk)
other than that i have lazy. tomorrow i think mom is taking sarah and me to play mini-golf. should be interesting...
and i need to pack. heading back to athens on sunday. dad and sue ellen are leaving monday.
i HAAAATE packing. omg. and unpacking is even worse tbh.
oh well i'm excited to start working on my room.
this post has been so scattered lol. idk idk.
summer is almost over. i reflect every year this time and think about who my friends are and who they were at this time last year. i've definitely drifted from some, gotten closer to others, made new friends from scratch, and some friendships have stayed the same (thissen is and will always be like a brother to me).
anyway. whats the last dvd you bought?

i made a promise to myself a couple years ago, when i got my tattoo.
that i would live for the day, and live for ME.
do the things that make ME happy and stop taking care of the people who should take care of me.
somewhere along the line i stopped doing that.
i'm disappointed in myself.

so basically i was sort of kidding with my mom today and telling her how she should take sarah (my 8yr old sister) and me to disney world.
and to my surprise...
she agreed.
we've never went on a big vacation. only little day trips here and there. and its been years since we've even done one of those.
she told me she's setting up a disney vacation fund for us.
and that maybe we can go at christmas time next year.
i'm dying. omg omg omg. i want to go SOOO bad. |

sorry, i'm updating alot.
so today i was just starting to put the dye (loreal feria R68 just so i remember) on my hair aaand... the electricity went out. yeah. i was in my mom's bathroom which has ONE window. ugh i went about my business. luckily the electricity came on before my hair fell out. also i got a nickel/quarter-sized spot on her white carpet in her bathroom. she's pissed cause it stained but she didn't even ATTEMPT to get it out or anything. so i don't even feel that bad, tbh.
talked to dad today. i have to go to athens friday-monday to dog sit while they all go get tori. i'll be all by my lonesome. i think i'll get a haircut and check up on my money situation.
then monday-sunday will be my last days in newark before i go to athens for the quarter.
sept 1st-9th, dad and sue ellen will be in MAINE so i'll be managing the household.
basically i just have to make sure they to go school, do homework, bathe, eat, and sleep.
also i have to make sure the dogs get outside, and have food and water.
my first day of class is the 8th, i think, but by that time the girls and i should have some sort of schedule. so it shouldn't be bad.
speaking of schedule i need to look at mine again. i should also review spanish so i don;t look like an idiot on the first day of class. i would do anything to have gizelle as a teacher again.
and i need to read brad's dissertation for the research project i'm helping with or whatevs. but its SOOOO long and i am sooo unmotivated. we're all supposed to meet up the first week of classes to discuss things. i need to look up the other people on fbook (hi i'm krissy and i'm a creeper) if that obnoxious girl from class is one of them, i will DIE.

Hi.
How is your Monday so far?
I'm doing well, just at work and trying to get some stuff done while moderating ONTD at the same time, haha. I think I'm leaving in a few to go get some lunch. I've been on a smoothie kick lately, so I'll probably do that again.
Did everyone that left me email addresses get a random picture from me? Did you like it? :) Please let me know if you didn't receive one (you may want to check your junk mail folder or something first, though, because I did send one to everyone that requested) and I'll make sure to email you another one. The email should have come from "mattchew03" (mattchew03@gmail.com).
Just thought I'd update quickly and see how everyone was. How was the weekend? What do you have going on this week? Have you been watching The Olympics? Favorite moment?
