judgedchristian. First, let me clarify that "Christian" (for the purpose of this community) is defined as someone who follows the God of the Bible and believes Jesus Christ died for their sins. Regardless of denominational bent or other beliefs, being saved puts us all in the family of Christ. Acceptance and Love for all is the reason for the creation of this community. Everyone is welcome.
judgedchristian began on 2-1-05 in response to the lack of Christian communities that do not adhere to a strict set of rules and guidelines regarding "proper" "Christian" behavior. In truth, there are all kinds of people with all kinds of beliefs who behave all kinds of ways...and are still Christian. This is not a "walking in fields of daisys and praising Jesus in the sunshine" type of community. Here it is okay to not be perfect or disagree with the Christian bubble. God told us to relate to non-christians and show them God through His love, not destroy them and tear them down.
judgedchristian was also created in response to the Judgement so prevelent in Christian society today(both in LJ and otherwise). We are each only responsible for our own behavior and there is no reason to try to control or shape someone else. The way each of us lives is between us and God alone. It is not for someone else to get inbetween that relationship. As a result we are very acceptance-minded. Though we may stand up for our beliefs, we feel it inapropriate to push them onto other people.

trian and kookie_chick. Our function is to make everyone gets along and to enforce our few rules when necessary (though it hardly ever is). We tend to join in the discussions here loudly and often. Anything said without the title or header "Mod Post" is just opinion and is open for debate and discussion. However, when the header appears, what is said carries the authority of a Maintainer to this community.
The Rules
1. Respect each other. Try to communicate with the love of Christ
2. Don't judge each other. Only use Bible verses to back up your stance or support facts, not to condemn and tear each other down. This include "admonishing" other believers.
3. Community adverts are allowed ONCE. After you have let us know about your community, please refrain from repeating yourself. Suggesting a community in a discussion thread is fully permissable at any time, as often as you like. The same applies to businesses you think some of us might have an interest in. Blatant SPAM will be deleted.
4. Don't make comment disabled posts. If we can not all join in on the topic presented it belongs in your personal journal.
5. LJ cuts are your friends. Please use them if you are posting pictures or long posts. If you don't know how to do that, just copy the code below and paste it at the top of your post, or after the first paragraph (whichever you prefer). Here is the code: <lj-cut text="insert witty comment here">
6. Have fun. That is what a community is for, so enjoy it.

1. No personal attacks or ad hominem arguments (this includes name calling, and saying things like “how could you be so stupid”, “are you being willfully ignorant?” “Only a crazy person would believe blank” ect)
2. Respect a person's right to not engage in debate (this means both not pressing someone or disrespecting them if they choose not to involve themselves, and keeping an awareness of the comments that are meant only as support and encouragement for the OP)
Your maintainers reserve the right to remove from the community any person who is not cooperative with these rules and is causing strife in the community. A three-strike rule will be enforced within debate threads. Outside of debate this right will be excersized at the discretion of the maintainers.
