Welcome to Jrock Want Ads! A magical place where you can (hopefully) find the muses to play with that you've always wanted! Anyone is allowed to post here, be you a muse already in a game looking for bandmates, or a lone muse looking for a home. If you don't know what muses are, this probably isn't the place for you, but we do welcome muses from all walks of life, be they Japanese, Korean, in pop music, in fashion, in design, or whatever, not just jrock. Mind the rules, fill out or handy form, browse the tags, enjoy yourself, and good luck!

01 » Absolutely no community or game advertisements. This includes sneaky game advertisements like posting all, "Oh Hi I'm playing Kyo from Dir en grey at Some Game and I'm looking for EVERYONE IN THE WORLD!" Do not do this.

02 » Please use the proper form (see below) or a reasonable facsimile of it while posting, and please tag your own entry if you can.

03 » Do not troll people. Do not harass anyone. This goes for muses and muns.

04 » When you post, please put somewhere in your subject header if this is a post from a mun or a muse. If it's a muse post, please keep in mind when you reply that the original poster is probably going to reply to comments in character.

05 » If you're searching from the perspective of an alternate universe setting, please make a note of it in the form, and tag your entry with "!alternate universe".

06 » Anyone is allowed to comment to wanted posts, be it individual muse or mun, or someone suggesting a game, with the following stipulations: Community moderators ARE allowed to comment to people with a community advertisement, but ONLY if it pertains to the post specifically. For example, if someone posts, "I'm a Shinya looking for my bandmates", you CAN comment saying, "This Game has a few Dir en grey members who would love a Shinya!" you CANNOT comment saying something akin to "Shinya is taking at This Game but we'd love more members/There's no Dir en grey here yet but we'd love for you to come start!" etc.

07 » Please tag your entries on your own if you can - check and see if your band name is listed. If you're a solo artist you can select 'solo', if you're a designer or model you can select 'fashion industry', etc. Only moderators can add NEW tags, but if you're posting for someone from, say, Dir en grey or MUCC, chances are there's a tag for you already. If there's not, a mod will get to it pretty soon. If you're not crystal clear in your entry what you're looking for, you might get asked what we should tag your entry as band-wise. It's not a big deal but it makes it a lot easier for people looking for friends to find you. :)

jpop_rp_wantads - If you'd rather post a want ad in a place geared to pop artists, this is the community for you!

kpopwantads - Like this community and the one linked above, this is a want ad comm for Korean musicians!

riot_box - An uber watering hole for muses of all walks of life. Vent, search, chat, make friends, whatever.

jrockrpersearch - A community that's the alternative to this one, more or less. It's a place where you can go and take stock of all of your muses, what you'd like to do with them, etc and soforth. Everything is really well organized and tagged to make it really easy to look for people to meet up with!

cd_jrock_rpg - The place to go on LJ when you're looking for what games are up and running, or where to go to advertise a game.

rp_personals - Another "tell us who you are and how you play and who you're looking to meet up with" community. Allows game ads and such, too.

jrockhet - An uber community for heterosexual muses to have a sense of community and camaraderie, being as they're sort of a rare thing.
