Welcome to NC-17 a Jrock fanfiction community made for the sole purpose of sharing NC-17 rated Jrock stories. Membership is moderated, but do not be intimidated, it's just for purposes of keeping up with who's following the rules and who isn't. All posts are moderated, just so we know what is being posted. Posts will be accepted unless the moderators see something that isn't appropriate. Read the rules and join the community to start posting your fics! We all look forward to reading them!  This community was made, simply because we love smut. Therefore, only things that are considered "smut" or "porn" will be accepted. Vague references to sex will not be approved. It's just nice. • Correct typing is bliss. Show us you are human and can speak properly. • No advertising of other sites. • NO DEATH FICS! (Only accepted if member returns (i.e. Reincarnation).) • All fics are automatically posted in Friends Only mode. • No fighting, complaining, or bitching. Do that in your own journal. • If you join, please consider putting a banner in your profile (banners are at bottom of page). • If you join, please try to either post a story or comment at least once. Active members are highly desired. • Original characters in stories cannot have a main role.  Fics are listed according to the band(s) that the fictions are about, not by pairing, sorry. But each entry has the pairing(s) listed at the top to make it easier for you! Go to the tag listing and pick a tag to find all of the stories involving that band!  Q: Why can’t we post death fics? A: Simple. Some people (mainly the owner and some others) don’t like reading about our idols dying. Q: How do I put warnings in my fics? A: Well... check the warnings list above. If your fic is Male/Male then of course it’s either going to have Anal, Oral or Masturbation/Hand job. Q: I know a site/own a site that would like/I would like to archive some of the fics on. Can I archive them? A: You must ask the individual author’s permission. If you do it without permission or you find your fic posted somewhere that puts a link back to this community, that is NOT OUR FAULT. We are not responsible for the theft of your fic or for others archiving of it somewhere. Take it up with the person who did it and leave us out of it. Q: Can I post M/F pairing fictions? A: Yes you may, but be warned that many people might not like to see that kind of stuff in this particular fandom. Q: Why should I put a banner in my profile? It sounds stupid and it's just free "advertising" for you and your community. A: Actually, it's not "advertising" at all. Advertising would require us to get some form of money from the action (such as the ebay ads at the bottom of each page on plus accounts). Technically what you'd be doing is called "promoting". Simply put, LJ users tend to look at other LJ users profile pages quite a bit. In order for a community to grow, people must know about it, right? Who better to promote something than the people who obliviously wish to be a part of that something? A good lot of LJ users have many many graphics in their profiles. In that respect, what is one more banner at the bottom of it? It's just one more pretty graphic of the bands you love. (If you want a different band, ask, and we'll make the banner for you!) With the way the coding is written, it's just one more way to support this community AND the bands you love! If you've posted a story on here, you've most likely posted it directly to the community itself. Don't you want more comments and more exposure of your stories from the people that read your LJ? Then a banner link in your profile will lead people to where you post your fics, thereby the link helps you too, not just us! If you're a commenter and you've enjoyed the stories written here, then don't you want to share the fandom love with the rest of the world? A banner link can do just that, by both promoting the band of your choice with the graphic and the community from someone who clicks on the banner. Q: Why should I comment or post a story? I don't want to! A: Simply put, the community should be an active community. If you're not commenting or posting a story, how is that being active? After all, what is the point of a community full of people who do nothing? If you're an author of NC-17 fic, then why not share it with us as well? We'd love to read it, so post it! If you're not an author, but ARE a reader, then how hard is it to show the authors you like your support and leave a "nice" or "good job" (or even "update soon" on a multichapter fic) comment on a story when you read it? It takes, what, 5 seconds of your time? The authors obviously spent more than 5 seconds writing the story for you to enjoy and you probably spent well more than that reading it, so... why not? Authors like to know that someone at least enjoyed their story. Basically we're trying to promote an active atmosphere for both readers and writers alike, rather than a club with 400 members, only 5 of which are active in any form or fashion at any given time. That makes for a dead club and eventually everyone will leave and only the lurkers will remain... and that's no fun for anyone.
