Community Profile

Welcome to jrock_service. This community is for the request of Japanese Rock in the form of various media. Icons, scans, lyrics, mp3s, and PV's can be requested. Many requests in both small and large Jrock communities remain unfulfilled, and we'd like to prevent that problem with one simple community for all sorts of requests. ^_^
Theme: Every two weeks, there will be a new theme for gifts/bribes. There are no themes on request so don't worry. ^_^ This two weeks theme is SCREAMO

1. Please only request JAPANESE media - no other languages are allowed. This includes The TRAX.
2. When you comment, please be courteous. Impolite behavior is prohibited!
3. When we have many requests at once, please be patient for our replies. ^_^'
4. Limit your requests! Only 10 mp3s, 4 PV's, 5 graphics, 5 lyrics, 1 magazine, or 10 scans at a time, please. ^_^
5. Do not request full albums, full concerts, or full movies. Bands need your support, so please save up and buy these things yourself.
6. No ads. We presently take just requests. If you want to post an ad, we require that those be posted here.
7. Before requesting for the second time, wait at least 24 hours. ^_^
8. If you feel bad for requesting something and not giving anything back, put your trade under a cut or other link.
9. Please have either AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, or MSN Messenger since some of our users prefer direct transfers.
10. Please do not make introduction post without a request attached to it.
11. Request about band information and/or rumors are not allowed here! Please find a community that is based on that band and ask there!
12. When posting a gift/bribe, please say what the files is. No more grab bags allowed unless it is a theme.
13. We are now a moderated community. There are many mods so your post will be evaluated quickly. If your post gets rejected, please look here for more information.
14. MOST IMPORTANT! All post must include a request or your post will be deleted!

Graphics:
Icons: We take icon requests, and you may request specific pictures to be used in your icons. Please do not request brushes, fonts or textures. When requesting icons, we ask that you specify the Jrocker you would like, the style you prefer (samples can be given), the text you would like, and finally a picture. ^_^ Always credit icons to the user from whom you are requesting.
Colorbars: We will take colorbar requests sometimes. They are easily made, don't be lazy!
Wallpaper: We also take requests for wallpapers. The rules are the same as those for icons. ^_^ Just add the required size.
Layout: We will take layout requests sometimes. They take the longest time unless only a simple one is required. Don't get in the habit of requesting these here, please. The rules are the same as those for icons. Just add the required size.
Others: This includes mostly Friends Only banners, community or personal banners, buttons, and so on. Just give us the basic information.
Sounds
MP3s: We take mp3 requests here. Just state what artist and song you are looking for. Read the rules for the maximum number of requests. Please do not go overboard with major labels like Gackt, Malice Mizer, L'arc~en~Ciel, Dir en grey, Pierrot, and so on. We like indies and various 'kei's. ^_^
PVs: We take PV requests here. Just state what artist and song you are looking for. Read the rules for the maximum number of requests. Please do not go overboard with major labels like Gackt, Malice Mizer, L'arc~en~Ciel, Dir en grey, Pierrot, and so on. We like indies and various 'kei's. ^_^
Lives & Clips: We take live and clips requests here. Just state what artist and song you are looking for. Read the rules for the maximum number of requests. Scans
Magazine: We take requests for magazine scans. We require that you give us: title of magazine, year, issue # & cover artist. Provide a list of artists you want from the magazine. Limit to 10 bands, please.
Articles: We take requests for magazine articles. We require that you give us: title of magazine, year, issue #, and what sort of article you are looking for.
Lyrics
Kanji: We take requests for Kanji lyrics here. Please look for these on the web before requesting. We require that you give us: band name, album and song title (version, if it is needed).
Romanization: We take requests for Romaji lyrics here. Please look for these on the web before requesting. We require that you give us: band name, album and song title (version, if it is needed), and the original Kanji.
Translations: We take requests for translations here. Please look for these on the web before requesting. We require that you give us: band name, album and song title (version, if it is needed), and the original Kanji or Romanization.
